My mother has moved in. They have day-to-day activities. They have a lot of things that they offer, whether it be bingo, Yahtzee, and all kinds of things of that nature, to make sure that they stay active. They also do day trips twice a week to different restaurants or shopping facilities. Everybody has been really great. They are very attentive to anything that my mother may need. They've all been friendly and welcoming. Anything that I have questions on or inquiries about, they've been very helpful. So, all is good on that end. The room that my mother selected was a studio. It has a full bathroom. She has a small living area within that studio with her bed as well. In the kitchen area, it has a small refrigerator, a microwave, and a sink, so she can keep snacks. It has small cupboards, so it's like a kitchenette to that extent. Then they provide three meals a day and snacks. Within those activities, they have ice cream socials, and cooking classes, and things like that. They have an activity calendar every month and all the time slots, so they know where to go or what activities they might want to partake in. So that is extremely helpful.

The lady that gave us the tour was really helpful. She gave me all kinds of information, her name was Alice, and my husband is a veteran so she gave him a number to call about getting his benefits. It was a very nice place, and it's not that there's anything negative about the place, we're just not sure that's the one we want. Everybody there was very, very nice. The facilities were very nice, they had a salon, but the place just didn't give me a warm, fuzzy feeling.

We have a pleasant experience. Everybody is friendly and helpful. My brother's room is nice. He is in the memory care, and the staff is helpful.
