Our Dad needed to be housed somewhere sadly because of his condition he had become more than we could handle. This is such A wonderful place in that it lives up to what you really want for your aging parents. Feeling of wanting to put your parent in an home and your parent not wanting to go makes these kinds of decisions taxing from the get go and we were all sorrowful, scared and apprehensive. This place turned out to be a breath of fresh air The resident rooms are large and beautiful.. their staff kitchen actually serves really good meals And the staff lives up to there promises. The facility in its entirety Up to speed with the times in regard to decor and tech. The grounds are very nice and we loved how peaceful it was to sit and take in the view by the lake in the evening. A huge thank you to Staff for the attentive Care and genuine compassion for my Dad who like anyone with Alzheimer’s is often difficult because he is confused therefore frustrated. Market st. Staff is in fact more patient and much better with him than even we are. That’s what we needed and at Market st. we received it . A very Special Thank you sooo much to Christine at Market st. for talking us into going with this facility. We so very appreciate her hard work in keeping every promise that was made. And the respect she showed in attending Dads services as we said goodbye to our father who we will always miss and love. It meant everything.

Mom is doing very well at Market Street Palm Coast. I chose them because they offer alternatives and help for aging in place. They're very efficient and they do well. They've got 60 residents that they take care of and they have them divided up among certain staff members to make sure that they check in on certain residents every 2 hours. They make sure that they have eyes on them knowing where they are. They were sometimes a little slow at getting to people, but they get to them. A memory unit is a different type of care. They're there to help these residents all the time and they do a very good job at it. They have sitting exercises, people that come in and sing and entertain, a large screen TV, movie nights, arts and crafts, and a full calendar of something every single day. Mom's room is very nice. She has a single bed, a reclining chair, a dresser, and a full bathroom, and it's a private room for her. The two ladies that run the activities go above and beyond as they try and get all the residents to participate. They're lovely. Although there are some things that I feel could be improved, there are also things that go above and beyond. So overall, I'm extremely happy where she is. She, too, is very, very happy where she is. As long as she's happy, that's all that matters.

I toured Market Street Palm Coast. It's strictly a memory care unit; the whole facility is memory care. It's beautiful. They have a beautiful indoor atrium where you can visit with guests. They have programs, music and exercise classes. Beautiful dining room. The facility is absolutely beautiful. My only negative would be that the rooms are very small. We also felt that, for our aunt, the people were a little more advanced in their dementia than she was, and maybe not the best fit at this time, but I would not rule it out. I felt that we got the most information and the best tour and guidance from Christine, the sales manager. We were very impressed. Our aunt took a look at the rooms and just felt they were way too small coming from a house, and she just felt very claustrophobic. But they're nicely appointed. It's a beautiful facility with skilled nursing and advanced licensure, which was very important to us. Because it's a category five hurricane shelter structure, they didn't have to be moved, and that was important as well. They have the same kind of amenities. They have a hair and nail salon, they have all different programs, they take lunch trips, and they have exercise classes, physical therapy, and dining. They have accommodations. It was a beautiful facility. If we were ready to move our aunt, it probably would have been among our top choice.
