Palagio Senior Living is a brand-new building. Everything is in order. It's perfect, and it looks like it's going to be a great success. It's beautiful. The staff members were very cooperative. They answer all your questions and they have the right answers to every question. They have it all together. They have everything there. The only complaint I have is that they don't have enough handicapped parking, but the lady said that is not under their control. It is designated by the highway department. They had about 6 or 8 handicapped parking spots and they were all full. Other than the few handicapped parking spots, they have a very nice facility, and everything is just beautiful.

Palagio Senior Living was very nice and very clean. It was an open area. I liked the fact that they had a little cafe snack bar for the residents throughout the day outside of each room. They could go there and have coffee, tea, water, etcetera. The apartments were very nice and very roomy. I liked that their refrigerators were more full-size.

We looked at three assisted living facilities in the area and Palagio was at the top of our list. Mom has been living there for two months and we couldn't be more pleased with our decision. The staff is very caring and responsive to questions/needs. The facilities are new and the rooms are some of the most spacious. Lots of activities for the residents. We have eaten there several times and the food quality is excellent. We liked that the meal hours were more flexible than other facilities, and had a variety of meal options like a restaurant. Glad we found Palagio Senior Living!

I am a resident of Palagio Senior Living. I'm now in independent living. I was in assisted living when I first came in here because I had surgery. We have a courtyard in the back with a gazebo and individual places to sit. There's also a place for the dogs to go to the bathroom. It's got everything. Parking is out front, and you don't walk ever- you just cross the parking lot near the house. You have a microwave and a full-size refrigerator. There's also a TV that's hooked up to cable. There are activities all day, 7 days a week. We have a library, too. The other day we made flowers. They have bingo, puzzles, and singing. There are also church services. Plus, they have movies and popcorn once a week. They have a little bit of everything. We have two choices at each meal on what we want to eat. It's only three years old. They're pricing themselves out of my budget, but it's worth every penny. You will love it here. There's only one closed door and there's no other way to get in. Each hall is separate and there's a door for each hall. You come in the front door, and then you go to the floor you need, that's it. We have a barber shop and a beauty shop. The lady comes in on certain days, and you make the appointment. We have an activities room and a pool table. They do our laundry once a week, but if you want to do your own laundry, there are facilities on the second floor. This place is beautiful. The assisted and independent lived together, while the memory place is found on the first floor in a wing that keeps them a little more protected.

We toured Palagio Senior Living and we were impressed with it, but we weren't impressed with the price. I've met the staff and I've seen everything there, they were very informative. They educated me about the care in need and further assisted me in case I didn't choose them, that I'd consider other places. So they just didn't concentrate on themselves. They have a kitchen, and a gym, and what they have for a 92-year-old was good enough for us. The cleanliness of the place is excellent. The room that I saw was clean and it was the right size for a single elderly person, and everything was within reach, so I can't complain about it. It's located near restaurants, the hospital, everything was right there.

I visited Palagio for Seniors at Orange Park. I loved it. It was really nice. Their staff seemed attentive, and the residents looked like they were cared for. The facility itself was really nice, and the staff was nice. They had several dining areas, and it's clean. The residents can eat whenever they want, if they miss a meal. The staff was nice. I did talk to a few of their staff, but not the people caring for the residents. The person who gave me the tour was the marketing person. So far, they seemed like they were on point. For their respite care, they only allow a minimum of 14 days; that deters me. If they could have shorter respite care time frame (like weekends) that would be great.

I've moved into Palagio Senior Living. One of the big advantages I saw is, if I get to the point where I need assisted living, I don't have to change apartments. The place is only about two years old, it's very well kept, and they have very nice people. The staff is excellent. Food is edible. Every month they publish a monthly calendar listing all the events and various activities. They handed it out to all the residents as well as posted on the walls. They have a full refrigerator and a microwave in the room. They have a very nice area to walk the dogs, and there are sitting areas. There are a couple of gazebos out there. The grounds are very nice and very well kept.

I toured Palagio Senior Living. It was great. It was a good layout. It was a newer facility. I liked the amenities. They had some activities they did for seniors like bingo, and really all of the places have activities. They had some socializing activities. They had a card room, they had some different rooms set up to do different things to meet other people, things like that. The staff was very courteous. It was very clean and well-kept.

We're currently in the independent at Palagio Senior Living. My husband is a fall risk, so they take that into account. It's clean and it's lovely. We have a nice apartment that we're happy with. The only negative thing is that most people in senior living communities need each other because it's a very lonely place, and I have noticed so many very lonely people, because during COVID they cannot eat together, they cannot share together, and it's too limited. It needs to open up so that people can be loved and cared for, like they should be, instead of isolated. The staff is outstanding. I have nothing but good things to say about the staff. They're polite, caring, and giving. There's nothing that I have seen against the staff whatsoever. The food could always use improvement. It's not anyone's fault. It's just the way it is, and they're very open to suggestions. The apartment we rented was modified for a couple before us, and they removed a wall in between two apartments, and put two apartments together, and it suits up our needs absolutely beautifully. We have two beds, two baths -- which we needed -- and the kitchen area is large enough, but not too large. It's the perfect size for us. The facility is absolutely beautiful, well kept, and clean, no odors whatsoever. It's a beautiful place. This is one of the nicest senior living facilities all over the country. They have some activities going on, but during COVID, there's not much. We chose this place not for the money. It's very expensive, but we chose it because it met our needs more than anything else. It's upper scale, so not everyone could afford to live here.

I toured Palagio Senior Living and the staff was very attentive and active. I liked that a lot. There were activities and things for them to do. Everybody was out and about doing their thing, and all the guests were there. The people that were attending there were good. The prices look good, it looked really neat, and I wouldn't mind hanging out there myself. It was a nice facility. The staff was nice, and they listened. They offered options and explained things very well. It's a brand-new building. Every fixture and everything was shiny and bright, and it was very clean. They had a little massage area, and they had some nice little things where they would do hand massage just for them to kind of ease arthritis in people's hands. It was really interesting that they did. They had a couple of extras that were cool.

I went to Palagio Senior Living and paid a reservation fee. We haven't met any of the residents because they're mostly in quarantine. The activities are limited, so we didn't see a lot of residents, but the staff is excellent, they're all very helpful, and you ask them a question, it will be answered right then. It's a super clean place; it's spotless. Even in the hallways, there's no dust along the borders. It's immaculate. It's a new place, but it is very nice and upscale. We liked it immediately, the first impression when we walked in. It looked very nice. They described all activities. We had a sit down with a salesperson. They described them, and we toured all the activity bases, the restaurants, and their store. They have a beauty salon and a barbershop, all that kind of stuff. It's very, very all-inclusive. This is a huge place. It's a very large place and they have green spaces. It's well taken care of and well planned. Everything is just great. Everything is just well cared for in that facility. Although they showed us the menu, we didn't have an opportunity to taste the quality of the food because they're in lockdown.

Palagio Senior Living was an absolutely spectacular place. They seem to have a lot of amenities that my mother would be interested in. There's a bar upstairs, they have a beautiful outdoor pavilion, and the rooms are gorgeously appointed. You can truly make it your home. The rooms are absolutely stunning, and I could easily see Mom making it her home. I only met a couple of people; they were extremely friendly, very, very helpful, and very informed and informative. The dining area seemed very nice. As far as the little campus is concerned, they have absolutely beautiful grounds. I love the fact that it had an area for pets.

I toured Palagio Senior Living for a loved one. It was beautiful. It's new and very clean. The staff that I saw was very friendly. It was just a gorgeous place. It was very nice, and I liked it. They have a lot of amenities like a coffee bar. They're putting in an ice cream parlor and have a putting range outside. They have a lounge and a tasting room. It was a very nice set up. There was a group sitting in the tasting room. They were making brownies and tasting brownies. I saw the menu, and they offer all day dining, 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.

Dad moved into Palagio Senior Living last February. They're wonderful. We were able to see my dad right off the bat. I'm just very happy with them. It's located in a very good place. He has four daughters, and everybody could visit him because the location is very easy. I'm so glad I put him in there. He's in memory care. It's very nice for an Alzheimer's community, and it's very big, open, and light. It's very, very bright in there, and Alzheimer's people cannot be in the dark, so it is very bright, which is very cheerful. He's done very well, and I liked that a lot. They do have a lot of activities, which I'm very happy to see, and they do have a lot of stuff available for him to do. I've seen them doing crafts, I've seen that they have walking, and some of them go on bus rides to get them out and about, which is very nice. Every morning they always have a verse which they post. They do a lot of things, and I like that a lot. I just like the fact that we're able to go see him without it being like Fort Knox.

Palagio Senior Living was excellent. They were still working on a few things, and they're putting in an ice-cream shop. They had a sundry shop, and the residents took a vote and decided that it should be an ice-cream shop. It was kind of cool that they listen to their residents like that. Everything was clean and neat. The people were friendly. A couple of staff members came from other places, they've all been there since the day it opened, and nobody has left. I think that shows some good consistency. It has to be a decent place when people don't move on. It wasn't quite as good as the other place because they only had three room plans, but they were nice rooms. They had full-size refrigerators, whereas the other one just had small refrigerators. The staff was super nice. You can tell they are doing their best to make everybody feel like one big family, so it's sort of homey. They are doing the best they can to make everybody feel comfortable there.

I've chosen Palagio Senior Living for my father. It's very clean and run very professionally. The rooms were exactly what we thought was the best value for the price. We like the layouts, the view from the window that he has, the other amenities that were close to him, and the fact that rehab was on the same floor down the hall. They have nice gathering areas, a movie-theater type thing for seniors if they want to watch movies, and a courtyard where they can get out into the sun. In addition, it's all accessible with no steps anywhere in the facility. Depending on what level he needs -- if he needs daily care or hourly care, shower care, dressing care, or those kinds of things -- those are things they would add on price-wise. Because he's not a threat to himself or a threat to leave the building, he's not in the memory care area where they have preventative measures so people can't wander off. The staff is very professional, very helpful, accommodating, and willing to work as I discuss things with them. I'm spending his money so I needed them to be competitive, and they were willing to negotiate on some pricing that I was able to lock in for a couple of years. That's important so I can form a budget. On the nursing side, they're first class. The director of nursing got all the information from the rehab center, although it was misleading information as we found out when he got here. But she worked back and forth with them to make sure that the level of care is ready for him, which was supposed to be today. But because the rehab shipped him here with a seriously infected wound on his foot, he's in the hospital going back to rehab. So it'll be a couple of weeks before they can get him into the new apartment, but they've been accommodating on that as well. It's brand new, it's less than a year old, and the layout is terrific. It's very easily accessible for people with walkers or electric wheelchairs. So far, we like what we're seeing. There were others we've visited but for the price, they weren't competitive. I've been to the facility five times now and walked around, and they've showed me the rooms on all five occasions.
