After an extensive search of both ALFs and ECFs throughout Pasco and Pinellas County, my search for the best facility for my mother was by far Home Sweet Home. It is a small facility and an ideal situation for a family member in that they will receive more individual attention by staff members and outside visiting healthcare practitioners. The owner made me feel very comfortable and helped me through a very difficult process involved in placement. I am grateful for the wonderful care my mother has and is still receiving since she has been there. Not only are the residents treated like family, but their extended family members are also treated like part of the family. I highly recommend Home Sweet Home for a loved one.

Homes Sweet Home is a smaller ALF that resembles a family home. A matter of fact, Home sweet home is, in my opinion is the closest thing to being at "home". Upon arrival, the home is encased in a quaint white picket fence. The front door had an entrance buzzer and to exit requires a key code. The home is modest, yet processes the feeling of comfort. There are about 6 rooms, some independent and some double occupancy. The owner is a RN and the facility is ran by family and co-workers. This home had absolutely no odors and was very clean. The residents were all dressed nicely and very clean in appearance. The common areas have several independent recliners and a large screen TV. The back yard has a wonderful wooden deck and a privacy fence that surrounds the entire yard. All meals are home cooked. Residents are play card games and do pedicures and manicures with the staff as activities. In my opinion the staff at this location are very pleasant. I think this place is home away from home!
