"We got a great and pretty immediate assistance from Navarre Gardens. The people are very helpful, and they've been taking pretty good care of my father-in-law. We haven't been able to visit recently because of COVID protocols. They had a resident that's positive, so they locked down the facility, but they seem to be doing really good in keeping them safe. The facility is brand new, and everything is real clean and pretty nice. The staff is very friendly, too. They even loaned us furniture until we're able to furnish his room. My father-in-law says the dining area is a pretty good social area for them, but since they've got into lockdown, it has been closed, and they've been letting the residents eat in their rooms. They have movie nights, a courtyard for them to walk around, and different social areas. When they're not under COVID protocol, they try and do a get-together, like dances or just different events that bring them out of their rooms and socialize with each other. He's been there since early December, and we feel that they've been pretty awesome. "

"The Arbors of Gulf Breeze was nice and clean. It was in a very nice neighborhood and close to shopping. It was top-notch. It is just a little overpriced, and it's out of our budget range. They had washer and dryer options in the unit, and they had meals in their nice little dining hall. People decorated outside their doors, and it seemed to be a nice community. The manager that gave us the tour was great. My mom has some mobility issues, and the manager was wonderful and very patient. The front desk was not so great. The person there was a little odd, did a lot of staring, and made my mother uncomfortable. The rooms seemed spacious though. They had a balcony/porch depending on what floor, and that was nice."

"I heard good things about it Wellington Place. The staff are excellent. The rooms are very nice. The activities are very good. They have bingos and movie nights. It's the best for my mom and she is happy there. "

"The Meridian at Westwood is home for our Mother. In the 4 plus years she has been there she has made many friends. The staff is friendly, caring and always goes out of their way to ensure they meet every need of their residents...from serving three delicious meals each day, cleaning their apartments, planning events, and ensuring each resident is happy, healthy and satisfied. The apartments are very spacious and beautiful and provide all the amenities needed to live comfortably and safely! The staff fosters a family environment, and they truly care about every resident personally! The Meridian at Westwood is an awesome place to live!! We are so happy that it is the place our Mother calls home! "

"My mom stayed here, and it was excellent. I liked everything. I liked their cleanliness, and the food was good. They had plenty of help. They had RNs, and they were wonderful. They had memory care. They had a saloon, and they did therapy. "

"I looked at many places and after touring this place i knew this was by far best for our mother.We decided on the stuido and it is very nice and has all that is needed for comfort .The whole staff is amazing .They are all caring ,understanding and very proffessonal.They work very hard and have 12 hour shifts.I hope they are compensated very well for what all they do.A staff and people like this are very hard to find.The place is clean very friendly and they even let moms little dog come visit.The set up is great from activites to what the place has to offer from walking areas ,a big courtyard with a gazebo ,benches to much to list .All of the people and the whole place is truly a blessing .It has been a God send for the whole family and friends ."

"It is an excellent place but sometimes medications are done late due low staff ratio with too many patients. Overall the place serves excellent food for the resident. The food has good for the residents promoting healthy life style. Even though some patients have restrictions on what they can eat or how much which should not be done they should be able to enjoy their time while they are there rather than being bullied around by being told they are not allowed to eat something. I personally think that they should be able to eat whatever they choose to eat as she will not be alive much longer with being so sick and feeble. The area is nice with plenty of activities to do. Socializing should be encouraged more as people tend to live longer when they feel someone (fellow residents) cares about them or understands their situation by personal experience. Some of the patients need to be in psychiatric ward as they are not mentally stable which is dangerous for her as well as the other residents. Overall it is a very nice place but things need to be corrected so that people will be safe and enjoy what are for her which will probably her last days or months of being alive. She should be able to enjoy her time there especially when it comes to being able to choose what food to eat which one day will be her last meal. And she should be happy while she is there. "

"My mother moved into Victorian Manor three days ago. It’s awesome. A bus picks her up when she has to go to dialysis. They have bingo, bowling, singing, exercises, and trips to Walmart and Target. They have three churches visit. My mom is comfortable there and adjusting, but the way they’re handling it is awesome. There’s a screened-in porch, a gazebo, and a deck. I’ve gotten feedback from the other relatives saying how wonderful it was. "

"We were able to place my mom in The Canopy on Berryhill. So far, I don't have anything that I don't like. It's a new facility, so everything works. They have a physical therapy area, they have a physical therapist that would work with her, and that's one of the things that we did like. They have it so that mealtimes are not at specific times, you can go if you're hungry at 11:00 a.m. you can go have a meal, or if you want to wait till 1:00 p.m., you can wait till 1:00 pm. We liked that about it. It's more like a restaurant as far as their eating facility. They do have game time, they have a happy hour, just a time to socialize with various residents to get together. She has met one lady, it's kind of neat, you get to talk and stuff. That helps to settle in and give a good feeling of "I'm not just isolated." We have to get tested when we go in, temperature check, and all that. They did let us come and have a one-on-one personal visit, which all of us appreciate. They have a room set aside for when we come to visit."

"My sister has only been at Northpointe for about a week now and the facility seemed to be okay. Personally, I think they could have a little more staff, but most of them are helpful. The rooms are really nice and they keep it clean. I was able to eat there and I think their food could be a little bit better. "

"I was looking for continuing care and Azalea Trace is the only one here so I checked in, but I would have to sell a piece of the property I have to come up with the entrance fee. They have some vacancies. It's been around a long time so it has a good track record. I was more interested in the bedroom apartment. It has been around a long time so it has a good track record. The people are very friendly and many professional people in this area speak very highly of it. Many of them end up there eventually. They are very friendly, and it seems to be a well-appointed community, although it's getting a little old. One thing that has happened is that they've opened another facility towards Alabama, and it's a brand new community, so I wonder if they're putting some of their resources over there. The staff is very good people. The rain gutters are kind of rusted out in places. They have a swimming pool, but it looked very old. You can still use it for aerobics, but you can't swim laps in the pool."

"Life care center in Pensacola is a beautiful facility. It sits off of the road and is free from traffic noise. The facility seemed very clean and the staff were friendly. A couple of bonus features is the ice cream parlor, the barber shop and the outdoor putting green. The rooms seemed nice however most of them are 2 patient rooms. The rehab facilities were adequate but not as large or as nice as other facilities in the area. My sister and I viewed the facility to see if life care center would be a good fit for our dad. We were able to walk in with out an appointment and one of the ladies in admissions gave us a tour. The tour was only of the main floor, and I am not sure what is upstairs - possibly more patient rooms. Another nice feature is the family dining room. This room is set up like a formal dining room and is available for family functions or gatherings (dinner, birthdays etc.) "

"My mom is here. They take excellent care of all the residents. I took a great tour with Stella. This is the perfect place for my mother. I would recommend it to everybody, especially to people with dementia. There have been no incidents, and everything is excellent. The atmosphere is more homey. I feel comfortable here. "
