"Century Oaks' apartments were larger than any other that I had seen. However, the facilities were older and not that nice. It needs to be updated. Other than that, I was very pleased with the gracious personnel. A staff member even pushed me around in a wheelchair the whole time because I had problems walking. Even though it was an older community that needs some updates, I thought everything was fine. I loved the size of the apartments. I was very impressed with them because they were more spacious than other places. "

"The Fountains of Melbourne assisted living facility was one of the places we saw while looking in the area for my friend's mother. The grounds exterior was nicely maintained and designed with beautifully landscaped greenery. The lobby was clean and fresh with very friendly staff to greet us for a tour. The dining room was quite nice, with plenty of space. The meal menus all had healthy food options for all kinds of diets. The food we saw looked and smelled delicious. Healthy snacks are offered all day and whenever requested. The living spaces were very nicely decorated, fresh, clean and personalized. The fitness center had well maintained equipment and ample rooms, including daily classes. Residents may also walk around the lovely grounds safely. The many planned activities feature everything from book discussions to parties and other social gatherings. They participate in the local arts by visiting museums and galleries and seeing film and theater. This is a very nice senior living community and we could see how anyone would really enjoy living in this environment. "

"Brennity is first class. It has indoor and outdoor pools and a full gym. They have everything that you would want but it is expensive. "

"It has everything that a person can possibly want. It is like their own home. The apartments are lovely. They are like as big as my house. They have exercise machines and classes. They have swimming. They have creative classes, and they have a library. "

"My parents moved into A Place Like Home. It's just a small facility and they're sharing a room in the facility. It seemed like the administrative staff was very caring and interested in trying to make the transition as smooth as possible. It's just a large, single-family home that has been converted into an assisted living facility. They've got four to six rooms, I'm not sure how big it was. It was very clean when I was there. They were very caring. The staff was going to try to have an outing with my father. I had spoken to the administrator about it as well, and they were going to try to get him out. The administrator worked with me on the monthly fee and we were able to come to an amicable conclusion on that, which I felt was very fair. It's not a large facility. So what they do is they bring in folks on a staggered basis to do certain things, like from what my understanding was, there will be a doctor on-site once, once every three weeks. There will be a nurse on-site once every three weeks. They have beauty care type things, for haircuts and things like that once every couple of weeks, so they're bringing people in to do the services as opposed to having somebody on site all the time because it's not a large facility."

"Many activities for the residents. The food is delicious And the menu varies...meals for visitors are inexpensive and the wait staff friendly...remember everyone’s habits. Living quarters are cleaned regularly...are roomy. Many field trips for a variety of interests."

"My tour at Palm Cottages was OK. The rooms were good; there's enough space. The community's particular two houses for memory care are good enough for memory care people to get used to. It's also clean. The staff was very helpful. I only met a couple of people from the staff, and they seemed good too."

"We toured Alura Senior Living. There were a lot of things I liked about it. It's newer. It was built in 2021. It is very fresh. I liked the wider halls, which were bright. The artwork was bright. I like the layout of the rooms, particularly the room with the balcony. It laid out well for my stepmom's needs. Something else that I like a lot is in their dining hall. They do not have assigned seats, which is good if you want to go and meet other people in the dining environment. I also like how they do their dining. They have set times for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, but they also have times that you can come down at any time and select from a different part of the menu so that you can eat on your schedule, not necessarily the facility's strict schedule. So, I like that flexibility. The staff was very pleasant and engaging. They liked working there. You could tell it from their demeanor and expressions, and you could tell in their eyes that they enjoyed it. So, everything with the staff was very, very good. They have a central courtyard with a pool with waterfalls with koi fish. They have some raised gardening plots for the residents to use either for flowers or vegetables, so the facility itself offers a lot. The overall atmosphere was certainly inviting. Everything was bright and cheery."

"First of all the food is wonderful and Chef Mike is absolutely the best! The staff is always there to help. We have lots of activities and enjoy live music frequently. I also enjoy Happy Hour every day at 3:30 in the outside courtyard. I love exercising and playing Bingo and miscellaneous games. We also watch movies in the theater. They even bring me on the bus to my doctors appointments. I love living here! "

"Enclave is a small facility. They're all women in a private home. The girl that runs it has another home just for men. I like her philosophy and she is more caring. Mom has her own room. They took very good care of her. She was also getting UTI, but they were really good. No problems with cleanliness. "

"My Mom and I had a hard time choosing a community since there are so many around the Melbourne area. After touring several communities, we picked Sonata and we're glad we did! From our first tour to move in day, everyone was so helpful and provided guidance every step of the way. Mom has the nicest caregivers and they are there to meet all of her needs. The food is fantastic and Chef Sal comes out into the dining room to talk to all the residents and you know the ladies love it! There is a wide variety of activities, events and outings and Mom is always busy. She's made many new friends and seems to have a new sense of purpose these days! "
