The Blake at LPGA was very nice. They're very nice people. It's huge and the rooms are away from the common area. Other than that, it's a very nice place. I have nothing bad to say about it, but it wouldn't have been accommodating for my mom. When I went in there, it was dinnertime and the staff was sitting there, assisting the other residents, which was nice. They weren't just sitting there on their phones. The residents were eating and everybody was happy. The staff was very accommodating.

My husband stayed at The Blake at LPGA. It's a gorgeous place, but the price was very high. I had an argument with the administrator because you're paying for toilet paper. In a place like that, you shouldn't have to pay for toilet paper. My husband had fallen and broken three ribs, and when I asked, nobody knew what happened. If you're in assisted living, they don't bother to go and check to see what you're doing. They're charging me $1500 extra for somebody to stand in the room with him, to sit on his bed while he is taking a shower, and charging me for that because they said he doesn't want nobody to shower him. They're charging me $1500 extra for walking him from his room to the dining room for meals. I was bothered, especially when he fell. They don't know why he fell and how he fell. He was in pain and nobody bothered to give him anything for pain. At first, the food was OK, but as time went along, it was not as good. It's not that substantial to match up with the price that they're offering. The place looked good. The ambiance was beautiful in there. The dining room looked like a regular restaurant. Sometimes, they get lackadaisical. A lot of people have moved out from there because of the lack of care. The caretaker stays in the room and they just do their assessment. I don't have too many nice things to say about them. I would not recommend anybody to go there.

My sister is actually at the Blake at LPGA now. They're just brand new, and they're working out some kinks, but it's been very good. They've been friendly, thoughtful, and made it a smooth transition for us. The staff is very friendly, very courteous and respectful, and very helpful. The food is good, a little bit above average. There is a non-denominational church there. They have a cafe. Their dining is kind of like fine dining with tablecloths. They have a nice bar there. They have activities set up in the morning and in the afternoon. Once a month they have a big party of some sort. I went to a luau one, and they had brought in dancers and people throwing fire, and there was a big buffet. It was fabulous.
