My mother was a resident of this wonderful facility for three years until she passed away. She was very comfortable here and Maria the owner is a very caring woman. My mother was Spanish-speaking and Maria could speak Spanish and communicate with my her. Our whole family would visit and we had peace of mind while my mother lived there. I would highly recommend this facility.

Lakewood was wonderful. I liked their staff, their cleanliness, and their facility. They would have been my first choice had the situation worked out for us. The place was clean. It was a charming little facility on a 10-acre lot. It was a privately fenced, wonderful facility. The rooms were a little more spacious than you normally find. The staff was charming. I knew my dad would have been happy there had it worked out that way. I would definitely recommend then. They had real food as opposed to institutional food. The only complaint I could see was their driveway was a little difficult. They had really nice nature trails in their little wooded backyard.

Maria Ware is the owner of this Assisted Living Facility, She is very caring and cooks her meals from scratch with love. She takes great care of each and every resident and she goes out of her way for them. The facility is very clean and the rooms are really nice. It's fenced in for more security. Thanks Maria for your big heart!

Lakewood Retirement Center was not suitable for my parents because it was like a memory care center and my parents didn’t need that. I talked to the director who was very open and very friendly. I was looking for both of my parents but the accommodations they had were way too small. Also, the residents were just sitting around staring. The dining area was not very impressive, either. It was utilitarian.
