My mother was here for close to a year, and she was very dissatisfied. The CNA's are not very competent and were rude; the place needs to hire more qualified and LICENSED CNA's who speak better English! The thermostat was set to 80 degrees; it's hotter inside there than it is outside. The television is always blasting loud, and not once do they offer any activities to the residents. The owner of the place, Yolette, comes across nice in the beginning, but as time goes on, her attitude changes for the worse. I definitely would not recommend this place.

The staff at Pondella Serenity was very friendly. The property manager was very nice too. The rooms were clean. It was a nice setting, and they have a small number of residents there. I would recommend this facility.

Pondella Serenity provided exemplary care more our Mother. The limited number of residents allows for individualized supervision and care beyond one receives in larger corporate run facilities. The resourceful nature of the owners and staff far exceeded our expectations. Our Mother was provided services in-house which potentially would have required trips to the hospital or outside specialists. .Pondella Serenity was always clean, well lit and was an inviting place to visit. Mom was treated with dignity and as if she was a treasured family member. A huge burden was lifted from our shoulders after placing Mom in Pondella Serenity Court's care as we could then feel she was content, happy and safe in a wonderful nurturing environment.

This was only the second time I had the need to visit a relative in an assisted living facility but I thought the place was nice enough. My grandfather said that the staff were attentive and generally responded quickly to his requests. The exterior of the facility is beautifully kept. One of the more touching aspects of the staff's care was how they responded when a hurricane threatened the area. They allowed myself and my brother to come stay with my grandfather during the storm - they also were very responsible with preparing the building for the event (shuttering the windows, stocking up on bottled water, etc). Overall we were impressed with the facility.

We went to visit Pondella Serenity Court assisted living facility since we were already in the region, looking at places for my friend's mother to live. The outside grounds were vibrant, with fresh flowers and exotic trees. The interior foyer was like something out of a large country mansion - very inviting, but lots more space. The facility offers plenty of amenities - like social enrichment activities within the surrounding community, visits to cultural centers, eating establishments, fairs and festivals. The private housing options included spacious rooms, which were all lovely and looked like they had been personalized. The exercise area had very well maintained equipment and the also offered a variety of fitness classes. The restaurant style dining area offers many delicious choices. The lunch was like you might find in an upscale diner. They also had a private dining room for friends and family to enjoy. This is a full service assisted living facility that offers residents flexibility and comfort. The staff was both respectful and professional - yet also kind and caring.
