Each year the staff is required to update their Alzheimer training.
Describe the overall population of assisted living residents at Langdon Hall of Bradenton. What is their average age? What are their favorite things to do?
The average age is between 55 and 80. We offer a wide variety of activities both inside and outside of the community.
What programs or activities does Langdon Hall of Bradenton offer to enrich residents' well-being?
We have a Walk & Roll club and an exercise class. Various healthcare professionals come into the building and speak on a wide variety of health related topics. For those with a creative flair we have arts & crafts as well as puzzle time, bingo, Uno and much more. Every Friday we have live music in our lobby for our Resident Social hour.

We are centrally located off of Business 41 in Bradenton, FL. We are close to shopping and restaurants that are located on the MCAT bus line. There is a bus stop at the end of our street.
What transportation services does Langdon Hall of Bradenton offer to assisted living residents?
We offer transportation to and from doctor appointments that are within 10 miles of our community on Tuesday and Thursday each week. On Wednesdays each week we offer transportation for banking, shopping etc.
What makes the chef or dining program at Langdon Hall of Bradenton exceptional? What kind of menu can assisted living residents expect?
We offer restaurant style dining for each meal. The dining room is open for breakfast from 7:30am until 9am; lunch is served from 11:30am until 1pm and dinner is served from 4:30pm until 6pm. There is always a main meal for lunch and dinner, but there are always alternatives provided.
What safety features or security measures does Langdon Hall of Bradenton offer to assisted living residents?
Our community is complete surrounded by a 6 foot fence and our entrance is gated. We lock all exterior doors of our community at 7pm each evening.
How does Langdon Hall of Bradenton keep residents' families informed about their loved ones?
We keep in touch with family members via telephone, text or email. We also are willing to meet with family members in person if they so desire.
What is the care staff-to-resident ratio at Langdon Hall of Bradenton during daytime and nighttime hours?
Four nursing staff are in the building during the daytime for Assisted Living and there are two nursing staff in memory care during the daytime. At nighttime there are 2 nursing staff for assisted living and one nursing staff for memory care during the nightime.
If Langdon Hall of Bradenton accepts dogs or cats, what indoor/outdoor areas can they enjoy?
We do accept pets, however, there is a $500 nonrefundable deposit for each animal. The resident must be able to full care for the pet, i.e. toileting, feeding, walking, grooming etc.
What ongoing senior care training does the staff receive?
We do a staffing meeting once a month and at least one training item is presented and the staff is instructed on such.
How many staffers are on duty in the daytime and overnight?
Two to three during the daytime hours and one person during the night time hours.
What safety features or security measures does Langdon Hall of Bradenton provide to protect residents who wander?
We have a secure memory care unit on our third floor for residents who wander.
What programs or activities does Langdon Hall of Bradenton offer to keep residents engaged? How does the staff engage residents' long-term memories?
Our Memory Care coordinator always has lots of great activities for the residents. One day a week they have spa; day and do nails and hand; they play bingo and other games. They love to color and they have planted flowers.
Who assesses residents' health and cognitive functioning? How often is that assessment repeated?
Nursing staff does the assessment on the residents' and they are done at least once a year unless a resident has had a significant change, at which time a new assessment would need to be complete.

All Memory Care staff are present in the dining room when meals are served. They sit with those that need prompted or need help eating.
