My Mom absolutely loved the many years she spent at this peaceful and lovely Assisted Living Facility. Mom expecially loved her caregiver "Peaches" and always considered her a wonderful, caring and compassionate friend. The entire staff is wonderful as is the owner, June T. My wife and I have always been pleased on our frequent visits. Mom consistently expressed happiness in being there and in all the great care that she received. The resident rooms are pleasantly furnished and all needs are met. Sadly, Mom passed peacefully earlier this month of June 2022 She was a vibrant and always healthy 88 years young. It is my hope that Rustic Retreat will continue their fine work and receive many more postings of great reviews. They deserve no less.

My mother was a resident at Rustic Retreat for two years and I cannot say enough positive things about it. Don't let the unassuming front and location fool you, this is a great ALF with caring staff. The management, staff and residents could not have been better. We had a real challenge placing my mom, she was very averse to going to an ALF and we had tried two places before this one. She had hated the institutional, depressing vibe the prior ones gave off. Rustic Retreat feels more like an old Key West Motel, back in time. There are lots of plants and openness to the outdoors from every room. My mom loved it and called her room "her little apartment". Some of the staff have been there for decades, which is not the norm in this industry at ALL, they got to know my mother, understood her personality and made her feel welcome and respected. I'll take that over a nice entryway and address any day.

I'm a veteran an have been here for 6 years. The staff have become the only family I have left. They make me laugh, give me hugs when I need one and back rubs just about every day, just wish they was longer haha! The food is really good. Most important the Rustic Retreat is my Family.
