I moved to Frontier Valley Independent and Assisted Living. I'm in the assisted living section. They help me if and when I need it, and that's what I want. The number one most important reason that I chose this place is the private room. They also don't restrict every movement like at the last place I was in. I can actually walk down the hall and go to the vending machine without getting pulled over. I like freedom a lot, and the people are very nice here. I don't think I really have a complaint. I can call an Uber or a cab to go out, and they would actually let me do that. I can go for a walk, and they're not like the policeman questioning every move. The staff members are nice, kind, and helpful. The food is good enough, but not great. It could improve quite a bit. The variety's good, but it isn't great tasting and not cooked properly. Other than that, everything in the facility is clean, and they take care of my room, so I see no problems. They're all extremely expensive and overpriced, but I think it's a good value for your money.

I'm a resident of assisted living at Frontier Valley Independent and Assisted Living. I have my own apartment and my own space, and that's what I like best. They have a little bed bug problem, so they're trying to take care of it, so that's the least thing is the bed bugs. It could be worse, though. I do a lot of things myself, so I don't really depend on the staff, and they're very nice to me. I have no problems with them. If I do ask for something, they always do it. I don't ask for a lot of things because I take care of myself. I buy my own food sometimes. From what I see and hear, it is not too good, but the food I get for myself is cool. I get Turkey and sandwiches and veggie burgers because I don't eat pork or beef. They have two different menus, and I don't eat what they make for everybody. I get my food off a special menu, and it is good. The place is clean, and they clean it every day.
