My mother moved into Pacifica Senior Living Vista a few days ago. They've been very accommodating. The staff is really good. If I text them, I get an answer right away. And if there's a problem, they take care of it. Anything we ask for, they take care of it right away. They've been amazing. They have a restaurant which you can go to throughout the day. They have lots of activities to do. Mom has a studio room. Her bed is in the main part of it and it has its own good-sized bathroom. It has a balcony, so she can have patio furniture. They have a beauty salon. They have a podiatrist that comes every three months. They have a library. They have a Bridge in the independent living building, but she can go there. Someone would have to walk her there. We're very happy with this facility, so far.

We visited the Pacifica Senior Living Vista to look at their assisted living for my mom. It is very bright and open. The rooms were small but clean. The staff was very kind and helpful. The dining room is very nice and very much like a restaurant. They have a library and an arts and crafts area.

My dad will be moving into Pacifica Senior Living Vista. We toured it and it was nice. It wasn't right off the freeway, so I'm assuming the air quality, the noise, and all that would just be better for my dad. The facility was very clean. The staff was very nice up to this point that's why we chose it. We had a meal there and it was good. The menu seemed to be quite extensive, more than my dad could ever want. They had a library and a dining room. Each room had a balcony, which was nice. The room we're moving into was newly remodeled. They were all very helpful and nice. They have a relationship with a very good hospice organization, and the head hospice person there was extremely nice.

Pacifica Senior Living Vista was nice. We looked at the one and two-bedroom villas that they had, and they were very, very nice and newly remodeled. They had very nice kitchens. I think the kitchens were the best feature. The staff that we met during the tour was very nice, but the thing we didn't like was the lack of gated security.

When you walked into Pacifica Senior Living Vista, the dining room, the kitchen, and everything was beautiful. The whole place was luxurious. Then when the lady took me to the memory care site, I didn't care for it. The walls were white. It was plain. The garden area where you had to walk looked like a dead forest. Other than that, the staff was very nice.

Pacifica Senior Living Vista was very nice. The people were extremely friendly. The food was really good. They showed me a single unit, and it was nice, clean, and comfortable. They have several activities. They take you out to the market when you need something to buy. I liked the special things they have in taking care of their rooms, like cleaning it. They also have Bible studies and card games.

I visited Pacifica Senior Living Vista and liked the layout of the buildings. The people were very nice and it was pretty. It's got several buildings and I liked that. My only negative about that was I'm not used to the streets around getting there. I still like to drive to my daughter's house and to stores, but that's just me, because they have the transportation if you need it. Other than that, I liked the place a lot. I liked their patios. It's kind of built on the hill, and so that made it not look institutionalized, but almost like a resort rather. Some apartments were singles, some were two-bedrooms. Each building has certain aspects to it as far as to whether it was closer to the dining room or a little more away.

I liked the price that Pacifica Senior Living Vista offers. It's a much larger place. My dad asked me to find a place where he could get in and out of the bathroom with his wheelchair without assistance and this place had it. It was just remodeled and my parents would move into a place there that has never been occupied before since the remodel. The staff was super friendly and eager to help. They have no problem serving more than one meal to more than one person so we could try several meals. So, they don't have a problem with you testing the meals to make sure you like the variety. The food was good. My sister and I were able to tell my mother, who's very picky, that we enjoyed the food and that their grilled sandwiches were really grilled and not just toasted with bread. If there's not enough organic, the chef is willing to look for organic anywhere he can. I was so incredibly excited about this place when we saw it with my sister. We were just blown away by how beautiful it was and how nice the entire facility was. The only thing was there was no gym or pool. Other than that, it was such an incredible place and so much larger space and they would try to accommodate everything you ask for.

I enjoyed seeing Pacifica Senior Living Vista yesterday and they have openings. It looks like a nice facility. The staff was very friendly and informative. The facility was very nice, very clean, very spacious, had good lighting, and a very friendly atmosphere. The staff seemed very caring, too, in terms of the interactions that I saw with the seniors that were there. I toured the memory facility. They have all the different levels of care there. They were just getting ready to have some afternoon entertainment. The DJ was setting up and the residents seemed to be very anticipatory and excited for it to happen like they seemed to look forward to it. Walking through, everyone seemed well cared for, well-groomed, and well attended to. The staff ratio I didn't think was the highest, but it wasn't the lowest either. I think it was like three staff members for 26 or 27 residents at that time that were there continually. I also felt very confident and secure in their memory care section because it's all locked and alarmed, but at the same time, it didn't feel claustrophobic like the residents were stuck in one area, because they were free to roam out in the garden. There's an area outside to sit where they bring dogs to pet on certain days of the week. I enjoyed seeing their calendar of events because they have something scheduled for them that is unique each day. It's not just being sat in front of a TV or not having things to do. If they want to participate, it seemed like there are a lot of enriching activities that they could participate in. That made me feel slightly more comfortable with the idea of being in a facility because my mom is still pretty cognizant of what's going on. I was so worried that she'd be so bored there, but it seems like they have so many things to do. The staff seemed very accommodating and very knowledgeable, they answered all my questions, and they were very efficient. The person that was supposed to tour us wasn't there, but they had someone else step right in and she was very knowledgeable. It wasn't like, "Oh, I don't know the answer to that question. That's not my department." She knew everything and she knew all the residents too, even though she's not really on the floor so much. She was from a different department. I did see the meal they were having and it looked good. I did read their menu for the month, and it seemed like a good variety and they cater to the seniors' sweet tooth, which I know my mom would be so excited about. They have an ice cream bar.

I toured the independent living side of the Pacifica Senior Living Vista. I even took my husband back and we toured all the different independent living areas that were in the process of upgrading. They were very nice and very spacious. They have the biggest rooms and facilities that we saw for independent living. We considered moving there. The person who assisted us was lovely in working with us, communicating with us, and sending me information with completely no pressure. It was not like, "When are you going to move in?" like a high-pressure salesperson. He was very accommodating and he took the time to show us everything that we needed to see. He even allowed us to taste the food. It was a very positive experience. The food was not bad, but it wasn't as good as I would have liked it to be. Overall, it was a good place. I was so surprised because when I drove up there, I was like, "No, I'm not sure I like this because it's on the main street and everything", but once we got in there, I liked the setup and the way the people were.

Pacifica Senior Living Vista was a large area, very open, family-oriented, and friendly. The rooms were nice and big. The staff was very nice, informative, accommodating, and polite. They had all kinds of activities. They had a garden outside for the people if they wanted to work in the garden. They had games. The atmosphere was nice and homey.

Pacifica Senior Living Vista was an excellent facility. It was beautifully maintained. It looked like a very nice hotel when you walked in. The staff was friendly and helpful. They had a lot of amenities that they offered. They had a library, a movie room, and an entire list of activities that they do every week, like Bible study, exercise classes, and clubs. The facility was really, really nice with very nice furnishings. They provide a laundry facility if you want to use it, but if you don't want to, they do your laundry for you. The rooms were really pretty. They were small, but they had everything you would need. There's a large closet and a little tiny balcony where you could put a couple of little chairs and a table. It had a little kitchenette with a countertop, cabinetry, and a built-in refrigerator for you. Then it had a very large bathroom with all the safety equipment, and everything that you could possibly need. I was impressed by their dining area. It was on-call dining 24/7. So, anybody who wants anything at any hour, they can just go and request it. None of the other places offered that. That was pretty neat. My only downside was they did not have a lot of exterior grounds for walking.

I moved into Pacifica Senior Living Vista last month. I think that it has a very welcoming staff and people remember your name. People help you to acclimate yourself. I've only been here a month, but I'm very pleased that I made the decision. We have a cleaning once a week, they serve three meals a day, and they have a menu that you could order at any time during the day. You don't have to necessarily go at the designated times for dining. So that gives some choices because of that. I am waiting because I am in what they call the villas, which allows me to have a patio and an outside entrance, and I don't have to walk down a hallway. If I need additional help, they claim that that would be given to me, and their goal is to keep you in this area as long as they possibly can. I'm very pleased that I've done this. It was a very difficult choice for me, but I feel like it was the right one. The food is good. There's quite a variety. There are two choices every night for dinner and one choice for lunch. I usually don't eat breakfast. I just stay in my unit and eat breakfast because I like to read the paper. It's adequate. It's not a Michelin, but it is certainly varied. So you have lots of choices. So if you don't want something on the menu, you can order from the menu that is available all day long. So like last evening, this woman that I had dinner with, wanted something off of the all-day menu, and I ordered something. They provide an exercise class every morning at nine. And I haven't gotten into too many of the activities here. People tell me that the anagrams activity is a lot of fun. They have love on a leash coming on Tuesdays, I'm allowed to have my dog. So that makes me happy, and so you can have pets even in the other areas of the facility. In other words, if you have a unit that is enclosed in a hotel, you can still have your dog or your cat. I am in this group that has fun as I'm learning how to play bridge. They do take you on scenic rides. They take you shopping. I'm still driving so I can shop, take my own shopping trips. One of the most significant things I think for anybody is that you do not need to put in a big chunk of money to live in this facility. You pay month to month. You don't like it, you can go someplace else. And one of the things that I have learned from a woman who does work in the assisted living retirement communities throughout the United States, she said to me one time, do not give them your money to invest in for their benefit., and that's what happened with some of these places.

My father is in Pacifica Senior Living Vista. It was freshly remodeled (majority of it), it's clean, and the gentleman who gave me the tour was very professional and let me look at everything I needed to look at. I just felt that the whole facility was more topnotch than the other one I looked at. He's in memory care. I think the food is fine, but his dietary menu might be the reason. He thought it was a little bland at times, but I know the food is good because I've seen it. They have social activities for everybody and family comes and I know within the memory care itself, they will do little creative things like arts and crafts or they'll do athletic things like sitting in chairs and kicking the ball around like a volleyball thing. They try to keep them engaged to a certain point. Price-wise, I've looked all around, and they're pretty competitive.

The staff at all levels are very responsive and reflect a genuine interest in providing quality care. They are quick to offer solutions and resolve issues. My father is a long term resident of Pacifica Senior Living Vista, and has received quality care for over 4 years there. His room is well maintained by the staff-they do a great job of fixing anything that comes up including cleaning, repairs, and updating heat/air systems etc.

Pacifica Vista really puts the well being and safety of their residents as a top priority and you can see the effort they put into ensuring the residents are cared for and living life still. There have been a couple bumps in the past, but the staff is always open to feedback and they really work towards improvement and not just dismissing concerns. My grandparents absolutely love the planned outings and family involved events! Oh and the anagrams! Even years later, I’m still really happy with choosing Pacifica Vista.

Living at Pacifica Vista is so much more than I thought it would be. To begin with, my two room apartment feels spacious with a generously sized living room, bedroom and bath. I never have to worry about housekeeping or laundry. What a treat! The grounds are perfectly kept. There are many activities and outings as well as a large library. I especially enjoy Anagrams which I call my mental exercise. The staff and all employees are responsive and always ready to help with whatever needs we have. I participate with the Resident Council which helps with decision making and responding to resident needs.

I tried to keep my husband at home as long as possible, but realized early on it's an impossible task, there was no way I could give him the constant and involved care that he receives at this facility. From day one I have received emails, pictures, phone calls and updates on how he was doing - good and bad. Every step of the way, I'm given an opportunity to voice my opinion so it feels I contribute in part for his care. I can't say enough about all of the staff: the caregivers are unbelievable in what they do. I have been able to watch how they interact with the residents and their compassion shines through, caregivers are truly Angels on earth. When I come into visit, the staff know me by name and greet me with a friendly welcome and when I go home I know that I did the right thing and picked the perfect place for him. Dr.s are available to him as is physical therapy and he doesn't have to leave the facility - they come to him! When I found out the cost of him living there, it was quite a shock, but I now realize what the cost must be of keeping a place like this up and running. The managerial staff, caregivers, housekeepers, nurses, 3 healthy meals a day plus snacks available to them. The list can go on and on. I like many over families have heard the horror stories of memory care facilities, but I know from first hand, this is not one of them. There is no way I could give my husband the attention and care he receives here. I sleep well knowing he is in a better place and is receiving better care that I could ever provide.

We feel very blessed that we came to visit and found a charming newly renovated, Independent living apartment. It has a small, fenced back yard for our dog and potted plants. The kitchen has all new appliances and allows us to prepare snacks and any favorite meal for special occasions. There are three tasty meals served each day in the dining room with an outstanding group of servers. Each day there is a wealth of activities and a library to meet your literary needs All the residents that we have met are friendly and enjoy their accommodations, food, activities, and outings. There is an excellent, well qualified House MD and an onsite medical team that is attentive to the residents' medical needs. This community has Independent and Assisted Living. It also has a Memory unit. The fact we can stay in the same community as our medical needs increase is very appealing to us. All staff members are well trained, polite, and attentive. We couldn't ask for better people to take care of our needs. All the rooms we have seen are clean and have nice natural light. The staff cleans the rooms often and launders the sheets and towels weekly or sooner if needed. The residents are well cared for, friendly and happy. We are very happy with our choice to join this community.

Pacifica Senior Living Vista is very well put together. They have 4 nurses on staff 24/7. They have a care staff that stays and doesn't rotate. A lot of places have a lot of turnover, but they don't have that turnover there. There's a lot of people on staff that have been there for years prior to Pacifica's taking over, and it's been very nice. They took it over and some of the staff members are still there. The memory care is completely redone, it's completely new. The owners are in the process of renovating other parts of the building now. They have various activities. When I was there, I saw them doing exercises. There must've been at least 50 people in that room. There were two care staff, the activities director, and the assistant. They're watching over them, helping them, and assisting them if they need any help. They have a beautiful dining area. They're going to be opening a salad bar soon because of the COVID-19. It's everything you can imagine, and the menu is very nice. The memory care is completely redone, completely renovated, and all brand new. From the paintings to the floors, to the walls, to the room, everything looks very, very nice. It's very well-kept, very clean, and the grounds are beautiful. They're meticulous, and the people in it are very friendly. The staff that I saw were very polite and courteous. From what I've seen, I have been impressed.

Pacifica has very caring caregivers who provided excellent care for my mother, and the excellent nurse on duty is always available to provide care to all residents. One of the big advantages of Pacifica is that my mom (Assisted Living) and my dad (Independent) were able to live together in the same apartment. During the pandemic the Pacifica manager has kept everyone safe with very strict rules on visitors, which we wholeheartedly agreed with. Now that the residents are all vaccinated, they are allowing family members to come in if they are fully vaccinated and if they show no symptoms. The dining room is beautiful and the food choices are excellent for every taste. This is a resident-focused and caring community, with very good safety precautions for your loved ones. I highly recommend Pacifica!

I toured Pacifica Senior Living Vista a couple of weeks ago. It's a place where you age in place. You don't have to move. I looked at a villa, which is like a separate apartment. It's like in a fourplex and it was beautifully done with new appliances and flooring and everything. The only situation there was that I would have to walk from the villa to the main building and if I had to do that three times a day, it would be a little bit much for me. My walking is not my strong suit right now, so that would be difficult, but it was very clean and well lit. The people that I spoke with there were very helpful. They had all of the amenities that you would want as far as care. The staff was very helpful. They did very well. Everything was very tidy, clean, and well kept up.

My parents were impressed with Pacifica Senior Living Vista because they have an ice cream shop, a bar area, and an outdoor area that was like a sand beach. They really liked that a lot, but it was a little bit far from us. The lady was very friendly, she showed us the whole facility. That was the first place we looked at. I was impressed with them as they showed us everything, the nail and hair salon, they showed us the ice cream parlor, the cocktail area with the beach that was just outside that you can sit around.

I write this to express my deep appreciation for the courageous leadership of Karen the Executive Director at Pacifica Vista during the COVID-19 pandemic. Given the toxic cultural climate in America today, I recognize some small degree of the pressures faced to lower the rigorous quarantine standards that have kept the residents and staff safe in this dangerous time of contagion. Thank you for standing firm on your principles. Leadership can be a lonely calling and although the staff probably support you, there are others who do not grasp the germ theory of disease; it is they who want the standards lowered. On behalf of my mother and all residents there, I am grateful for her resolve to do what will protect them. I appreciate her for following her guiding precepts, even though it isn’t always easy or convenient.

The thing I appreciate most about Pacifica Vista is the wonderful staff. The individual staff members are very friendly and compassionate. They treat the residents with respect. Additionally, they work well as a team. Communication among the staff, as well as with family members, is a huge asset. It means so much to me knowing that my mom is safe and well cared for. That's so important to me. My Mom, who is a resident, enjoys the spacious room with a balcony that overlooks the hills, the dining room experience (good food and nice social interaction) and the other residents.

My husband is a resident at Pacifica in Vista Ca. He has received "top notch" care in every aspect. The official staff, beginning with the Executive Director. The office staff always courteous and willing to help, not just the residents, but all family members and visitors. The nurses, caregivers, medical technician's, cleaning service, food servers have a sincere interest in their residents. If yourself or and a family member are making a change in living, I recommend this Facility is worth the visit.

We looked at both assisted and independent living facilities at Pacifica Senior Living Vista. It was very good. The staff was very nice, even people who we weren't directly interacting with knew everybody by name. They seemed very helpful, very patient, and helping people with walkers to and from the meals or common areas. Everybody seemed happy. They had assisted living in their main buildings. The rooms were nice and well kept, and the layouts were good. The independent living was outside of their main facility, and they've got villas, which were one and two-bedrooms with full kitchens. They're very nicely laid out, you've got your own washer and dryer in your space, a full kitchen, and your own little yard area where you can have plants. For somebody who's mobile and in relatively good health, that was a really nice option. The independent living was a 5/5, and the assisted living was a 4/5. It was a really nice facility.

My visit at Pacifica Senior Living Vista was so refreshing. I got a thorough tour, and Stacey, the staff member who helped me, was so amazing. She answered so many of the questions that I had. She took me everywhere; I even asked to review the memory care since in the future my dad may have to transition into that unit. I like the fact that everything is right there, so if anything happens I won't have to move him to another place since it's all in one area. They offer so many activities. My parents try to go to church every Sunday, and I really like that this place offers transportation to a church of their choice, so that was a huge deal for me because I know that that would make my parents happy. They also take the residents to their doctor's appointments, schedule them, and keep their medications on track to make sure they're getting the refills as needed. They do pretty much everything to make sure that my parents are cared for. The apartment is big and has a gated patio which is perfect for my parent's dog. There's also a kitchenette in their apartment, but the dining area is also open all day and it has anything they want all day. They do have special menus for certain times of the day, but if the residents don't go in that time, they can go in any time and be served. I like how the place was lit up brightly with flowers and everything, it was beautiful. I asked some of the residents how they like living there, and I didn't hear one bad thing about Pacifica from the residents. They all seemed happy there. The main reason we picked this one also is because it has the best location for all our family members. I would rate the staff a 5, even the receptionist. They had my whole family come for a meal, and I would rate the food a 5 as well.

Pacifica Senior Living Vista was a beautiful facility. The people who work there were very friendly. The amenities were lovely and the apartments were adequate. They had a really nice dining room, activities, and transportation. It's in a convenient location and the grounds were very pretty. I would recommend them definitely. The staff was excellent.

The marketing director did a wonderful job and she was informative. It was a cheerful place. The rooms were nice, but they were on the second floor, and my mother hates to be up high. We had lunch there and the food was good. The room was average, but it was clean, bright, and there was a little balcony.

It is very nice, clean, and organized, plus the staff is very friendly. I would drop in and visit my mom unannounced and her room would always be clean. She's always well cared of. I don't see any situation that would require getting the staff to correct anything. Everything seems good so far. The dining area looks like a restaurant, but my mother eats in her room and they bring her meals all nice and warm and covered. It's all done well. I see a lot of the residents walking around and going on strolls with or without assistance. At one point, there was musical entertainment in the dining room, which I thought was really nice. They have presentations and movies with a big screen in the library area. The residents were always friendly, too. They always say hi to you when you walk down the halls, so they seem to be content as well.

From the sales office to reception, maintenance and the nursing staff, I received nothing but help. The food is great, services excellent. This was the best care and had so many extra services for the money. I love this place and the staff is awesome.

I wasn't able to spend Thanksgiving with my mom this year. It was nice knowing she was prepared a delicious Thanksgiving meal served in the beautiful Skylight Dining Room. It's very comforting to know even if I can't be with her she is getting excellent care and is surrounded by friends she's made in this great community.

It seemed clean. The staff seemed nice and friendly. If my mom’s finances were better, I would have made sure to take her to this place.

It was very nice. I didn't have any complaints about it. The staff members seemed very nice. I wasn't there that very long, but what I saw was fine. Everyone was very nice. It was clean and didn't have any odors at all; it was OK. The dining area was lovely. I wasn't too impressed with the section where my mom would be, but the other areas seemed OK.

I was very happy with this community. The dining room was exemplary. The beauty shop was very good. I participated in all of their activities. Their activity director was great, and so was their assistant. There were very happy people there. The bus drivers were exemplary, friendly, and accommodating. I just have nothing but good to say about them.

My mom is here. I like that they are very professional, very caring, and very responsive. The place is clean. They just do a better job than the other places. I like the way things are set-up. My mother and several other relatives love the food. She has a rough time transitioning, and they really stick with her and have it done. The grounds are beautiful. It is accessible to both fire and hospital precautions. They have activities like arts & crafts, bingo, bus tours, a Friday happy hour, and music entertainment. There is something going on all the time. I will recommend them to friends and family. How I wish I lived there.

The grounds could have been better, and their location was a little far. I would have liked the rooms to be larger, but they were fine.

We have friends who live here, so we are there quite often. Absolutely we were treated very nicely. They treated us royally. We have no complaints; it’s just very nice. They invited us to some of their socials, and we can’t say enough about them; they were just wonderful. The place is very clean, and the food was excellent. They have a lot of activities there. They have different games in the activity room, like bingo and cards. They also have sing-alongs, church service on Sunday, which we're very interested in, and bible study during the week. They also have a health center; it has everything. We were very impressed.
