My mother lives in the Heritage House. It is a very high end facility, and the price is pretty expensive. It is small. They had like 60 residents in total. There is a high ratio of health care workers to residents. It is a very nice and quiet place. It doesn't smell like cleaning fluid or stinky or anything. When you walk in, there is no smell. It is like home, and it is very nice. They have tons of activities. Every day they have 3 to 4 things going on. They have trips out to lunch, bingo, entertainment, and karaoke. They have a dining room. They keep them pretty busy. Then, they have activities where they include the family like special dinners on mother's day or Easter and Christmas. Then they have happy hour on Friday afternoon and a barbeque day every Monday.

I toured Heritage House and the staff was very good. They seem to have a very experienced staff and they have a caring attitude for all of the residents. I didn't look into the room as they're fully booked. Their memory care unit was smaller, I believe there were a dozen rooms, but I was more interested in the general feelings rather than the specifics of the individual rooms. Heritage House has three clusters of rooms, two of which are assisted living, and the one is memory care. All of the online information shows smiling people, as you might expect, but I didn't observe any general activities there and the online photos didn't make clear to me who were memory care residents and who were assisted living residents. Also, the facility was a little bit older.

We liked Heritage House. It seemed to be closer knit because it had fewer people. They had a group activities or plain solo socializing. They had a happy hour every Friday, and once a month they had a barbeque for that.

Heritage House is beautiful. It has a small memory care unit, and it has a beautiful dining room and fireplace. They have trips in the van, music, arts, barbecues, and parties. The staff was wonderful. He knows his property, and he’s a great guide. They all seem to be very caring, capable, and kind employees.
