"I went to Vista del Monte. It’s wonderful, but you need a lot of money to get into the community. It’s beautiful, and it has nice activities. The rooms were lovely. They take good care of their people, but I couldn’t afford it until after I sell my house. They have staff who come and take care of residents when they progress, so that they don’t have to move to another apartment. "

"I really like The Samarkand. They are great and had everything you can think of, including a fitness center and café in addition to the dining room. The units and apartments are beautiful had a patio and balcony. The grounds themselves are just gorgeous. There’s lot of activities and interests groups. "

"This place was really great for my mom. She had knee replacement and went to the Californian for rehab. She got better so quickly it was amazing. The rehab staff and all other staff was great. This place was so much smaller than the other nursing homes we checked out, so it felt really homey. I'd definitely recommend it if you're looking for somewhere that really cares about their patients. The room my mom was in was large and well decorated. They offered lots of activities, good food, and caring nurses/assistants."

"Valle Verde was nice. They showed the rooms to us. They’re very nice as well. They’re big enough for us. They had quite a few of different activities. We didn’t get to do them all because we weren’t there very long, but they have quite a few good ones. The staff was very accommodating. The services and amenities were nice as well. They had a gym, a pool, and different places to eat. They would take you on tours to different places if you wanted to go. "

"Both of my grandparents were place in Central Coast nursing center a few months ago. ( My Grandfather passed after being there a month, he had terminal lung cancer...and was well cared for) We have been very pleased with the facility and the friendly and helpful staff. The facility is under remodel and they are making nice improvements, we feel lucky to have our grandma in this facility. "

"My friend has moved into Buena Vista Care Nursing Homes, and the place is really very good. People are very kind, and my friend is very happy, she really loves it. They have individual rooms. They have 2-bedroom units, and they also have four in one room that is divided by a curtain. The place is very clean and very well-kept. People are very friendly and welcoming at the front desk. Overall, it is a really nice and good place. They have a room where they can watch movies and listen to music. I haven't seen it myself, but I've heard they have a library, and I went past their beauty salon."

"I've got some friends who live in Casa Dorinda. It's a very high-end, beautiful, but quite expensive place. That's the top-of-the-line, incredible food, and beautiful architecture. Everything about that place is excellent. The staff was very attentive, polite, and delightful. The food is excellent, and even their cappuccinos are good. I noticed they were having an exercise class, they had lots of activities, and took different buses to different places."

"Everything at Atterdag Village is really nice. The lady was really excellent. The rooms were nice, and they were in the process of refurbishing some. The meals were great; it looks like they were doing a good job. They had a pool, they go on different trips, different games, and they have meetings and movies. They had pictures that were painted by the residents. They tried to incorporate a lot of talents of the residents, and I thought that was really nice. One thing I didn’t like about them was that the rooms were too far away from everything else. "
