My husband was strong and very healthy, but the Alzheimer's really hit him. He stayed at the Central Coast Nursing Home since November until he passed last Saturday. It's clean and they did their best considering that it's a big facility. I didn't have any complaint against the staff. They were all fantastic.The only problem was that a CNA was taking care of 13 to 14 patients, which is a common problem among such facilities. I thought it's a bit too much and with so many things to do, some things get overlooked, although not purposely.

I had the best care. They tried to get me to go to another facility wont say any names but by far Central Coast Nursing Center is the best in town!

The facility was overall a clean and safe place. I was pretty pleased with the way most of the staff members worked. Most of the CNA's were proffesional and were sincere about the work they did. The major complaint that I had with this retirement facility was that not all staff were doing the right things. We had heard other families complain about their elderly relative being abused. In some cases we would find my grandma with extensive bruising on her body. Any complaints that were made did not get anywhere, and excuses seemed to be the only thing we got.Other than the obvious concerns we had (which was only a few times) there was really no other major complaints. The elderly were all looked after and given their own free time. Daily activities, that included bingo and dancing, were well appreciated and taken advantage of. Senior Living Concepts was run well, except for the few incidents that were reported by us, and other families.

Both of my grandparents were place in Central Coast nursing center a few months ago. ( My Grandfather passed after being there a month, he had terminal lung cancer...and was well cared for) We have been very pleased with the facility and the friendly and helpful staff. The facility is under remodel and they are making nice improvements, we feel lucky to have our grandma in this facility.
