"It is a toss-up between Coastal View and the other place. For activities, they get to go outside, they have different physical activities, and they have drawing time where everybody can participate. There are all kinds of different small activities. It is mostly physical therapy. The staff is on you 24/7. They provide everything. The food is not bad. Depending on the requirements of the patients and the doctor's advisement, the food is OK. It is little on the bland side, but the taste depends on the physician and the diet that is recommended. The place is clean and presentable. I would trust them with my wife. She had been there twice for rehab. The staff members are on the ball. I would give them credit for that. However, the place is older and their air-conditioning is not adequate enough for the elderly."

"Ventura Post Acute was OK but understaffed. The people at the logistics and the ones setting up transportation for doctors appointments were great and super helpful. I had cookies that were good."

"Camarillo Healthcare Center is really nice, and the people are helpful. My parents don't have any problems. We see most of the staff talking to patients, especially those for long-term care. I would recommend them to anybody because their care is really good. "

"Vista Cove was nice, but very crowded with small rooms. However, the staff was good, and the residents were happy. I was not able to try the food, but I saw it, and it looked good. It was very clean, but it was an older building, so it was darker, though they had done a lot of work to try to make it prettier. They did a good job there, but it was crowded. My wife's father had been in there. He enjoyed it and thought it was OK, but my wife did not want to go there. "

"We needed to put my mom into skilled nursing, so she went into Mary Health of the Sick. We chose it because of its location. We also just liked it when we went to see it. It was an excellent place. It was more of a hospital and medical feeling, but it was what my mom needed. She has a small single room with a big window, it was very nice. She said food was good, too. They have activities and my mom participates in them. It worked out very well. They provided her with all the medical needs. "

"My mother moved into the Assisted Living wing of Oak View in 2019 where she had wonderful care from attentive nurses and aides in a very friendly and inclusive environment. When she needed more consistent care we moved her to the skilled nursing facility side of Oak View where she again received top notch care and comfort. My family and I have only the best things to say about Oak View and the team of professionals there!! From understanding current needs to anticipating future possibilities, we were always assured that Mom was in good hands. Thank you all for keeping Mom comfortable, for making her feel so special, and for keeping us family members such a large part of the planning/decision-making process. If I could give 10 stars on the review I would, but evidently the maximum is 5 stars. (Just know that they go way above and beyond)"

"Lovely environment and a surprise when we went in side. Home like atmosphere and the people living there told us the food is good and they get great care. Know a couple of people who reside at Los Robles Care Center who have not one complaint. (surprising too) "

"Out of the couple of times I visited Heartland Home Residential, it was very, very quiet. It’s spotlessly clean. The facility has a license for 6 patients and 4 of them have Alzheimer's. These women sit on a couch all day long and they’re not up and doing anything, so my mom is lonely. In that respect, it was probably not a good choice. She basically sits in her chair and we finally had to say if they can at least get her up, get her walking and get her moving. She’s still able to walk, and they don’t even do that. She likes breakfast and lunch, but she does not like the dinners at all. She says it’s processed and packaged food. There aren't many home-cooked meals. I see fruit and vegetables when I’m there, but as far as the main course, she says she sees a lot of things come out of a package. The owner is absolutely wonderful. She comes in and talks to my mom quite a bit. She is just delightful. I have never had a problem with the staff. They’ve always been very, very nice and caring, but the main problem is that they don’t do any activities at all. "

"My sister-in-law is at Greenfield Care Center. They have nice people there and they do a good job in taking care of their residents. They seemed courteous and kind. I would recommend them to others. "

"My father-in-law stayed in the acute rehab unit of Los Robles, and it was very good. The physicians, nurses, assistants, physical therapists, occupational therapists, and all other staff members were very good. He was by himself. His room was very good; it was quite spacious and comfortable. Because he had a lot of dietary restrictions, meals were made to fit his dietary needs, and that was very good. They had some group activities, but my father-in-law was not up to participating in anything. "

"The staff here were so friendly. My mom was here for almost a month for rehab and she’s back home doing well. No complaints, food was pretty good it’s clean there, was a little loud at night….but overall I’d definitely recommend you go here for therapy."
