My loved one stayed at Glenwood Care Center. Everybody seemed very qualified and attentive. I had no problems. She had rehabilitation, occupational, and physical therapy. It was a good experience. They had a lot of nice outside areas which were very pretty and shaded. The food was marginal; the same as most places. The people were exceptionally nice. They have a hair stylist and movies. The staff was very thorough and professional, but on weekends, they weren't as well-staffed.

The staff will hurry & clean when they know they are going to be visited for reviews but on a day to day, they are slow and take over 20 minutes to respond to patients call requests. They are under staffed and their admin office is useless. Be careful to admit any loved ones to Glenwood.

The rooms at Glenwood Care Center were very nice, clean, and neat. The staff was very nice, very approachable. They seemed very caring. The only concern was that the price was prohibitive.

I arrived with my friend when he was admitted. He was met by the admission person who addressed him by (Mr.) and his name. This staff member was polite and asked permission to ask my friend a few questions. After a few questions the person began to describe what my friend was to expect for his stay at Glenwood. He was introduced to his care giver who assisted him into his room. The admission person and charge nurse were very kind. While I was there the administrator and director of nursing also paid my friend a visit. The wanted to make sure he was comfortable and to let him know if he had any concerns that their doors were open. I made several visits to my friend at Glenwood Care Center and each time I found the staff to be friendly and responsive to my friends needs. I met the physical specialist and the person for activities. They to were nice and my friend seemed to enjoy their company although he didn't like physical therapy.I had heard bad things about other nursing facilities but the only thing that bothered me about Glenwood was it did have a different odor, not bad but noticeable.
