They seem OK. The people seem pretty helpful. My dad is still settling in but the experience so far has been very positive. There are a lot of helpful people and the community itself is fairly vibrant. There seems to have a lot of activities and things going on for the residents. His room is fairly spacious, clean, well-lit, and easy to get to. So, it is very nice. They have a large central area, a library, a gym, an outdoor patio, game rooms, and a lot of different areas that people can gather.

I will be moving here. It was the first one I toured, and I was so impressed that I don't need to look at anything else. They include meals in a restaurant, or dining room, with a professional chef making meals. They look delicious and they make snacks. They will come in and do light laundry like sheets and towels and change your bed once a week. They will clean your apartment, sweep, vacuum, and dust, all that good stuff. They also have an arts and crafts building, a library, a TV, and a movie night, if anybody wants to get in that room and watch TV. They welcome pets, cats, and dogs. Also, a shuttle service that will go anywhere within ten miles. The front is made like a hotel, with a covered drive-through area porch. There's a butterfly garden, and I think they said they have a hummingbird garden. They have a big swimming pool. It was warm and spacious. The mailbox is close to the apartment, you didn't have to go far to get your mail. All the apartments or units are inside. So, if it's raining or something like that, you don't have to go out into the rain, and the shuttle that needs to pick you up comes in right into that big, covered drive-thru area. It's independent living, but, if you progressed to the point where you need assisted living or hospice care, you can get that without moving out of your apartment. The staff who gave me the tour, was courteous, knowledgeable, and friendly. She knew her stuff. I haven't tried the food, but I've seen photos, and it looks good. They have a private dining room for things like birthday parties and stuff. You can have it either catered or you can have the food prepared by the professionals there. It's nice if you're having a birthday and you want to celebrate. They have arts and crafts, sculpting, painting, watercolor, and painting with acrylics. They also have barbecues and parties, and none of these things cost anything.

I went on a tour here yesterday. I had a very lovely experience there. The atmosphere was wonderful. The amenities were amazing. I like the transparency. The staff was just being upfront and honest about the apartment. She certainly is warm, she certainly gave me the impression that she would be deciding as if it was her mom. She was patient and knowledgeable. I wish the apartments were larger. However, that might just be something I would have to get over because of all the other amenities. I wouldn't need the stove, all the extra towels and linens, and things like that. I think one of those spaces was 700 square feet., and that's a pretty small area for two people. However, I really can't say enough about the amenities that the community offers, the transportation, the meals, the chef, and the ala carte. It was a wonderful experience. The dining area is beautiful, laid out, spacious, and warm. It was nice. The residents were playing cards.

They had secure doors so you can't just have anybody walk in there. I was impressed that it's a very large place and that it didn't have any smell. It had a nice fragrance to it. I was greeted, they took me around, showed me everything, and talked to me about things. The lady showed me the menu, and we went through different apartments, and saw what they looked like and they were a little bit larger than what I had thought they would be. Everyone was very friendly and I got all the information that I needed. They were doing their jobs and they were very polite. Even the residents were friendly. We passed someone in the hall and they said hello and asked how you were doing. It seemed like a nice, family-oriented place where things were taken care of. The tour was excellent and I was very impressed with it.

I have chosen them for myself and I will be moving when the holidays are over. I had a very positive experience when I toured the place. I liked the 2-bedroom apartment which was on the ground floor. It was near parking, which I was happy about because I had a back door. The bedrooms seemed to be a good size. I am going back again to measure my furniture against the room because the room had a very odd shape. It's similar to half an octagon with windows. It's kind of unique, but I want to see how my furniture might fit in it. The layout of the facility was quite comfortable. The dining area seemed quite pleasant. They pretty much offered everything that I was looking for. The only thing they didn't have was pedicures, but they assured me that there was a salon nearby and their transportation would take me there. They had tons of activities that you can do. As of the moment, the building was on the shabby side. But they have assured me that because it's under new management, they're putting new floors in, new paint, and new upholstery on the public furniture.

I'll be moving here. I've gone by and stopped in to talk to people. It was very clean, very comfortable, and very appealing, and the staff was extremely friendly and very helpful. They offered for me to try the food but I declined. I thought their facilities were great, I wouldn't have agreed to rent there if there were any discrepancies about it. They have a courtyard area, they have a billiard table on one floor, they have all the available laundry facilities, and there's nice dining that's kind of all together. It's a companion-type area and you're together with other people, not stuck in your room eating by yourself or something.

It was very nice. The woman is a traveling representative because they didn't have a sales representative there right then, so she showed me around. She was very familiar with everything right there. She answered all the questions, and she was very pleasant. She offered a meal, too. She gave me all the time I needed, and she showed me several places. I thought they seemed very nice. She just showed me all the details and explained how it can be used like, "OK, this kitchen was small, but you can expand it by doing this and around the corner." Of course, there's three meals a day, and I got to meet the chef, and she offered a right on the spot a meal, but I declined, so it was very nice. There were a lot of people in there and they looked alert, and that impressed me. Jennifer also pointed out that some people are in hospice care there, so there are all ranges of care even though it's mainly one category. One thing I loved about the place was that they have four or five companies they contract with, and a lot of them I talked with, and one of them was very pleasant. The staff showed me the amenities. There was an activity room, and they have a church service offered. A priest lives there, and for Catholic people who wants communion, he offers that each week, so that was nice. They have a variety of places for the seniors for activities. They not only have one movie room, but they have a couple of different rooms. It was nice, like there's a fireplace, it was spacious, and next to it is a nice-sized kitchen. On the first floor, they have balconies, and the staff said this is nice because there's a lot of shade here. She pointed out advantages of each. In the courtyard, there was a fountain, and they had the kind of items that seniors would want to see. They had some animals, they had a bush that was shaped like an elephant, and some items out there that seniors would enjoy.

I toured and I thoroughly enjoyed it. It was warm. I had lunch and it was enjoyable. When walking into the dining room area, it was comfortable. The residents greeted and smiled. There were people around the community, making you feel welcome. There was an ambassador that came through and sat and talked to us. For the first time, not knowing exactly what to expect, I thoroughly enjoyed it. I saw facilities on three different floors. At the end of the visit, they gave me a brochure that was very comprehensive of what I had just been exposed to, a flow chart of the possible things that if I make other visits, things that I could compare. It was a beautiful experience. A girlfriend went with me and we both enjoyed it. The food was delicious. It just so happened that I was overwhelmed that I really could not eat as much as I would have enjoyed eating. It was tasty. The facility was clean, had upgrades, and it was very nice. They had a full library, all kinds of activities, reading rooms, and a gym. The grounds were perfect. The color scheme of the building was exciting. It was young. I have no complaints.
