We toured Cathy's Cottage Assisted Living & Memory Care. It was fantastic. We love the staff. We love the owner. We loved the cleanliness. We loved the care. She cared about her clients that were there. It's just that she only had a room for one person and not two. So it wasn't that we didn't love her facility. It was that there wasn't enough space to have both of my parents, and it was really important to keep them together. It seems like they have different arts and crafts things. Since it's a smaller home, it's not as many larger activities, but they do a lot of one-on-one personal life activities to keep the clients involved and active. All the clients that were there seemed very, very happy, and very, very comfortable. That was actually probably our favorite place. But again, my parents couldn't be there together. We didn't eat there, but she gave us a very, very deep overview of the food. It was great, all home-cooked things, all personalized to the client's diet.

I toured Cathy's Cottage Assisted Living & Memory Care. The staff who assisted me was very patient, very knowledgeable, and very caring toward all the people that are there. The place was very clean. It was uncluttered. There was room to move around easily. There were lots of bathrooms. I was very impressed with this facility. All the residents there seemed happy.

I am a retired hospice registered nurse. My aunt was a resident at Cathy's Cottage for @9 months. I tried to visit weekly. I would show up unannounced at varied times and days. Each time I found my aunt to be clean, hair combed and with a dry adult diaper. Pain was a chronic issue yet while at Cathy's she denied pain. The staff was always courteous and happy to see my mother (the resident's sister) and me. We were given comfortable chairs and we would be offered a beverage. During Covid, Julie followed the State guidelines and tested visitors appropriately. My aunt died comfortably in a warm environment with caring caregivers.

I was able to walk the property and meet the staff. The property is well maintained and exactly what we're looking for. Julie and her staff are friendly, accommodating, and caring.
