They didn't have a dementia or Alzheimer's lock down section, but I heard that they were looking into doing that. They had the independent living, and then they had the nursing home; there's no in between. "

"One of the residents at Chesapeake Manor said my relative will enjoy the place; and it was the best. Another resident said the food was delicious. They had different floor plans. The apartments were clean, had a nice large bathroom, an air-conditioning, and you could put quite a bit of things in. The staff was very nice, very polite, and welcoming. It's a small facility with 16 residents, so it's more of a homey type atmosphere. It's secured, and they had a porch where residents can go outside, and that was secured as well."

"My Father has been a resident of Brandywine Senior Living at Fenwick Island since January 21, 2012. The care my Father receives is top-notch. The staff at Brandywine are always professional and kind when I visit. I like the fact, Brandywine offers nursing services 24/7, as well as, transportation to various places in town whether it be a simple trip to the drug store or a doctors visit. Brandywine offers on-site physical/occupational/aqua therapies. Also offered on site is a beauty shop where one can get hair and nails done. The dining facilities are very warm and welcoming. The food is excellent. The location is 2 miles to the Fenwick Island, Delaware Beach. "

"I was only in Salisbury Rehab for a couple of days. The staff was conscientious, but a little bit lower compared to where I was. They had a game room and facilities for getting together and singing, etc. The food was OK; I didn't have any complaints. The rooms were a little smaller, but the facility itself was clean. "

"My sister-in-law moved to Paradise Senior Living. It's a very caring community. It is very homey, comfortable, and beautifully decorated for the season. It's very clean. Everybody seems to be very content and very happy. They prepare meals to order. You simply tell them what you want, and they will get it for you. I was very pleased. They draw and play games. They try to interact with one another. They provide everything, so that's a big plus."

"Sarah Margaret & Mollie's Placed looked clean, well kept and attractive. The staff was friendly. The residents looked well cared for and well groomed. It had a more pleasant environment than the one that my ex-husband was at now. "

"I opted for Newtowne Apartments for my grandmother solely because of the price. For low income elderly, the facility is good. It was well-maintained. The staff was really helpful in providing my grandmother with the personal things that she needed. They had a few activities and church service. There was also a bus who would fetch them if the residents needed to go to other places. My grandmother seemed more independent, happier and healthier in the facility. So, I would definitely recommend this facility for people who are looking for a good place on a low income. "

"Our son is a client at Peach Tree. He is a Traumatic Brain Injury Survior. We visited Peach Tree over a year ago and our son fell in love with it and the clients and staff. He has received a room there and is so happy that he is "on his own". It was hard on us as parents to let go but we had to let go in order for him to grow and be happy. "The atmosphere At Baycare Assisted Living is amazing. The staff there are wonderful and really go the extra mile for the residents and their families. It has been a great change in the facility since the change of ownership/management. "

"My mother has moved into The Lodge at Historic Lewes. The people are very friendly. They are taking great care of my mother, so we're doing good the first week. The food is excellent. They have different specials every day at lunch and dinner, and then they have a standard menu. So far I've just had two things off the standard menu, and they were just as good as any restaurant in the area. Everybody is extremely friendly and very helpful. I had a lot of questions, and they were very forthcoming. Any little tidbit of information I needed, they had it. The facility is beautiful. It's new, so it's gorgeous. There's nothing derogatory about cleanliness, it's just spotless. We've only been there a week, but we're very happy. They're very attentive. They come and check on Mom every two hours. Every day, they give my mother a little calendar with activities that she can go to, if she wants to. They're having a lot of little Christmas parties. They have movies. They have line dancing. Mom can't walk, but she says she's going to line dancing class, so she goes and watches, and she has made a lot of friends already. Regarding value for money, I know that they're in line with everything I read online, so I would say you get excellent value for your money."
