"I visited Commonwealth Senior Living at Salisbury. The staff went through and showed us all the different sections and explained how things work. It looked very nice and clean, and they had people working with others who needed help. What we saw were nice-looking rooms, and we even saw some that people were still sitting in and watching TV and things. My sister is coming from a full house, and I think it's going to be difficult for her to get adjusted to the one room."

"What I like the most about The Woodlands of Ocean Pines is that the front desk is very friendly and the activities that they have seem to be great. My relative lives in the assisted living and the residents there have a lot of options for them to do. They have a movie room, a puzzle room, a very pretty dining room, a game room, a card room, and a convenient hair salon. Before COVID, they had trips to the grocery store, but they might be starting that up again. They also do bingo and church services. The only thing is the nursing staff usually responds to me, but not promptly, and if you have somebody who needs help with showering but is resistant, they don't have the staff to deal with that."

"My husband is at Brandywine Living at Fenwick Island. The community has made me feel like part of the family there. I'm very happy with it. I have nothing bad to say about the place. I like everything about it. They offer constant care. They treat my husband wonderfully. His room is lovely. It has a full bathroom, a window to look out at a beautiful garden, and it's quite large. The food is decent. They have some physical activities. They always have music playing. They offer different things, but my husband is not one to get too involved."

"We picked Salisbury for the price. It’s not perfect, but it’s a nice place. At first, there was some staff we loved and some we hated, but now that they really have gotten to know her, she’s become friends with them. It’s really a lot better. They do a lot of activities, like bingo, arts and crafts, and tree decorating. They give her so much food that she can’t finish it. "

"My sister-in-law moved to Paradise Senior Living. It's a very caring community. It is very homey, comfortable, and beautifully decorated for the season. It's very clean. Everybody seems to be very content and very happy. They prepare meals to order. You simply tell them what you want, and they will get it for you. I was very pleased. They draw and play games. They try to interact with one another. They provide everything, so that's a big plus."

"I chose BayCare Assisted Living for my mother, and she moved in last April. I've not been inside. I visited outside. I like that it's close to me, it's affordable with my mother's budget, and it seems very nice. Everybody seems very nice, very good, very experienced, and caring. It's in the country, so it has a lot of nature to it. I would recommend them. When it all happened, it was the beginning of the pandemic, and they were the only facility that really contacted me."

"Having to make the decision to place a loved one, in my case, my beloved husband, in any facility is heart breaking. My husband is in the Memory Care Unit. For both of us, we could not have found a more caring, loving and supportive place than Brandywine Living, Seaside Pointe. Every member of the staff is exceptionally qualified and give you the attention as if you are the only family that has a resident there. As much as I would love to name everyone, know that they are ALL very special. Every request is responded to expeditiously and courteously. "I opted for Newtowne Apartments for my grandmother solely because of the price. For low income elderly, the facility is good. It was well-maintained. The staff was really helpful in providing my grandmother with the personal things that she needed. They had a few activities and church service. There was also a bus who would fetch them if the residents needed to go to other places. My grandmother seemed more independent, happier and healthier in the facility. So, I would definitely recommend this facility for people who are looking for a good place on a low income. "

"Our son is a client at Peach Tree. He is a Traumatic Brain Injury Survior. We visited Peach Tree over a year ago and our son fell in love with it and the clients and staff. He has received a room there and is so happy that he is "on his own". It was hard on us as parents to let go but we had to let go in order for him to grow and be happy. "Baycare Assisted Living provides an home-like environment for the residents there. Staff and management show their sincere concern and respect for residents and their families. It feels just like a family environment. The atmosphere there is great and is always filled with laughter and love. There have been many improvements since the change of ownership and management!"

"We went to The Lodge at Historic Lewes. It was absolutely stunning. It was beautiful. They offered a lot. It was like a $20,000 buy-in, but your monthly was $10,000. The staff who gave the tour was excellent. The place was very, very nice. Everybody was wonderful, friendly, and very nice. They allowed dogs, and so we took our dog with us, and they went crazy over her. We didn't have a meal, but we had some snacks there. The sizes of the rooms was wonderful. I loved the patio. It was really, really nice, and it was big. They had a dog park, which I liked for my dog. It was beautiful and lovely."
