"We had a very good tour of Celebration Villa of Manresa. The staff did a very good job and we appreciated it. She was very friendly, and the information she gave us was very good. The residents were very friendly. It just gave us a good impression overall. The layout of the apartment was good. It was an older building and maybe the outside could have used some help. There was some chipped paint and things like that. But overall, it looked very good."

"Anna's House is an assisted living, it's a private home, it's new and right now my friend is their only resident. She's in what they call a level 3 care because right now she's not walking so she needs extra care. It doesn't convert to Medicaid, should you need it. It's private pay. When it's fully occupied, I think they'll have 16 residents. We chose it for her because of its cleanliness, level of care, and price. The staff is very good and very attentive. The rooms are quite nice. You can have a double and share a room or you can have a private room. They also have nice accommodating bathrooms. The place itself is very nice. It's a beautiful home and they're still working on it. It's very clean and very spacious. They don't have any scheduled activities because she's the only resident at the moment but they offer Christian Bible study. They also do memory activities. They bring in PTs, traveling nurses, and that kind of thing. It's nice, they keep her quite busy. The place is private, it's in a beautiful spacious land. I think it's on 28 acres and there's a lot of greenery. They could take her outside and let her view nature. It's so new that they're still working on everything. They just took my friend because we were looking for a place. They care about her menu. They kind of plan the menu around what she likes and doesn't like. They've offered us to taste certain things when she has lunch and we are there. She doesn't care for sandwiches so they've tried to cut out the sandwiches as much as possible. They also arrange the meals the way she's used to eating."

"Touring Candle Light Cove was a great experience. It's a nice setting. Financially, it was going to be hard to be able to maintain that one, but the experience of visiting it was wonderful. The staff was great. They took their time with us. They sat down and explained everything. I think it would be a great place for my dad if we were able to sustain it financially. They took us back into the area where, if he were to join them, he might stay. They were friendly. The facility was clean. The residents seemed to be happy and interacting with each other. We had a good feeling walking into that particular establishment. The lady who gave the tour was extremely nice and very informative. The follow-up was great. It's very well kept outside and inside, and extremely clean. It's well put together."

"I went to Bayleigh Chase. I was in a yarn needle group there and I visited people who were also in rehab there. The facilities are beautiful and they seem to care about the patients. There are a lot of activities for them. They were just very nice. They have a restaurant where the family can come with them when they visit. It was very nice. They have movies for them and take them on field trips within the community. The staff was very pleasant and tried to do their best for everybody, just very welcoming. I've had the chance to eat in their dining room. The food is good."

"I was there for eight weeks recovering from a deadly bone infection. The medical staff were always right on top of my tests and progress, shared that information, and let me know next steps. The PT team was professional and helpful. I felt secure and supported while I recovered. Facility is nice and clean, and there was not a soul on staff, from the food ladies all the way up, who were not encouraging."

"I chose Autumn Lake Healthcare at Chesapeake Woods for my wife because it was available, which was the big thing. They have nursing care that is required by Medicare. My wife likes it there, and that's the best thing. They're very friendly, very helpful. The only problem is (and you'll find this to be true in many nursing homes) a lot of clothes are lost in the laundry, so I chose to do her laundry myself. That's the only issue that I have. Also, they all seem to be overworked because that's how they make their money. They have no single rooms. They're all double rooms. They each have an armoire and a chest of drawers. There's only one chair and one TV in the room. The staff are very good. For activities, they have little programs every morning. Like today, they took my wife for lunch out in the town. The cost is very high. I could not afford it if I didn't get Medicare."

"ABSOLUTELY BEST ASSISTED LIVING CARE IN THE WORLD!!! MY MOM HAS LIVED THERE FOR YEARS. LIVE IN MANAGER IS AN AMAZING AND LOCAL SAINT WHO TAKES BETTER CATE OF RESIDENTS THAN THEIR OWN FAMILY. GREAT ACTIVITIES, HOMEMADE FOOD, CLEAN , NO BAD ODORS, CARING STAFF . WOUDNT PUT MY PARENTS ANYWHERE ELSE. LOOKED AT OTHERS LOCALLY AND ALL NOT NEARLY AS GOOD AS WHITEWOOD. AND YOU CAN BRING YOUR PET. "

"My inlaws reside at Queenstown Landing. My Father In Law recently passed. The kindness and warmth provided to him is beyond words. Exceptional care and interaction with the residents and families. The Staff is Family, and knows their resident's personalities and needs. They have the best interests at heart. Safe, Clean, and Accommodating. Residents rooms are large and have private bathrooms, common areas include living room w/ fire place and dining area. Activities include Music, Arts & Crafts, Bingo, Trips, Visiting Entertainment, Parties, Gardening, Speakers, Hair Salon, Patios and Courtyards and more! Thank you for making David and Adele smile!"

"Mom is moving into The Residence at Eden Green. I would give them five stars all the way across because they have been more than accommodating to my sister and me through all we've gone through. The staff members introduced themselves to us the other day when we were moving my mom's furniture in there, and they were very pleasant and very kind. It is beautiful, very clean, and very safe."

"My mother has been at Corsica since Nov of 2016 and I can not say enough great things about the staff. She is in their Homestead Memory Care Unit and the nurses, aides, director and activity staff are amazing. They take such excellent care of mom and this gives me such peace of mind especially since I live in Delaware and I'm not as close as I would have liked. It is such a hard thing to put a loved one in a nursing home but if you need to, I would highly recommend Corsica Hills."
