She is in their Homestead Memory Care Unit and the nurses, aides, director and activity staff are amazing. They take such excellent care of mom and this gives me such peace of mind especially since I live in Delaware and I'm not as close as I would have liked. It is such a hard thing to put a loved one in a nursing home but if you need to, I would highly recommend Corsica Hills."

"We're going to move into Baywoods of Annapolis. It provides all the continuing services as a community. It has independent living, assisted living, rehab, and skilled nursing. It's a beautiful facility located right on Chesapeake Bay. It has a lot of activities. It has a beautiful dining room, a beautiful cafe, a beautiful workshop for the men, and it has covered parking. It's a very nice facility. The staff who toured us around knew everything about it. He knew a lot of the residences, and he made arrangements for us to go in and look at the existing residences that were there. We ate at a cafe there and it was very good. The place was first class. Also, the entrance fee was very reasonable."

"I am pleased with Bay Ridge Health Care Center. We just have some issues concerning communication. I've been playing cat and mouse with the social worker trying to find out what's going on and what's the progress about our Medicare coverage but we haven't heard anything about it. They used to tell me everything about my mom once a week. But now I haven't heard anything for the last three weeks so I put in several calls and they just put in the call to the nurse. When I ask the nurse how she is doing, she always say that she is doing fine. I want to know what's going on. I want more detailed information. I want every department to call me and tell me everything about her condition. I think they should communicate with the families on a regular basis. "

"I worked in services for the aging for 25 years. My husband and I chose Manor House because it provides excellent care for independent residents as well as those who need additional help. We have been at Manor House for 3 1/2 years and enjoy the comforts provided by a caring and efficient staff. Manor House offers so many advantages it is hard to list them all. Recently I developed an infection in my toe after a minor procedure. When I called the doctor's office, he was out for the day. I was able to call the Manor House Wellness Center and see the Nurse Practitioner immediately. We have a wide range of fitness opportunities including a heated indoor pool and a large fitness room. There are many activities and trips to meet a range of tastes. We frequently have outside entertainers come in. There is also a library that is open 24 hours a day. These services are open for independent living, assisted living, rehab, skilled care and memory care. Pricing is reasonable."
