"The staff was wonderful, it's a great facility. It has some history behind it, but it's not outdated. The setting is beautiful. The staff was very knowledgeable, very friendly, and we're looking forward to meeting some of the other people. "

"My mom was in Solomons for rehab of her broken hip. It was close to home. It's a very nice, lovely, clean and well-decorated facility. The staff was pretty nice and professional. The food was horrible though so we brought mom her food. The therapy department was very good. "

"My husband is in Charlotte Hall Veterans Home now. We chose this facility because my husband is a veteran and 100% disabled and the government pay for it 100%. Plus, other facilities wouldn't take him at any price because of the nature of his illness. In terms of service, it's quite good. They really take care of the veterans. "

"This facility, while it may seem dated from the outside, is filled with love and care on the inside. The staff is going above and beyond during the COVID 19 pandemic to help residents speak to family members due to the governors orders of not allowing visitors. During each visit every staff member had all PPE on even when meeting me outside. While doing activities is difficult during this trying time, the activities department has still come up with ways for the residents to still be able to do them. "

"I have had 2 family members at this facility. Any issues that may arise are quickly addressed by our Guardian Angel, Sandi, who is an angel herself. The entire administrative staff are friendly and helpful. Ann, the Admissions Director is great Dr. Winslow is amazing! She is very thorough and understanding. The facility is short staffed, but management is working on this. The majority of the nurses and aides have been great."

"We have put my fiance in Genesis in La Plata. The nurses are good. If something happens, they let us know right away. They take good care of his wounds. The speech therapist and physical therapist work with him, so all in all I think they're very good. I have not seen his room, but he is in a shared room. Before you couldn't go in, but now you can see him but you have to make an appointment. I have only been there once and you can only stay for half an hour. I think it is in pretty good shape for an older place, and the building is pretty good."

"Bradford Oaks was OK. The rooms were a lot better than the one I had my mom in before. She was getting rehab, there was pastoral care, some kids came in. and other things like that. My mind is clear on all the things that transpired during the time I had here there. What I like best was that it’s clean, and the rooms were much wider and nicer. The staff was pretty good. "

"I have been to Pineview for a work related tasks and have found that the experience has been pleasant. It is clean , nicely decorated, and there is no odor. The staff that I have come in contact with have all been pretty pleasant. I feel that they have a better quality of care than other places in the area. I would definitely recommend the facility. I would say at least check it out for yourself. But I can say the times I have gone I have been pleased. "

"Chesapeake Woods in Cambridge MD was superb facility. My Grandmother was a residence for 3 years and I visited her quite often. The thing that really blew me away about Chesapeake woods was the staff would always plan activities for the residence and made sure they socialized with each other. They had arts and crafts, outings to various events around town and they even had a Nintendo Wii in the common area. The food was also great, I would frequently take a plate home with me when I visited her. If I had to address a complaint about Chesapeake Woods is that when I visited her, it would always be so scorching hot in the halls and in her room, I could hardly take it. The residence never complained and they seemed comfortable but I with there was another area for visitations with a better temperature control. In my opinion, Chesapeake Woods should be the blueprint of what a nursing home should be. "

"My mom is in Signature Healthcare at Mallard Bay doing rehab after a knee surgery. We're not able to visit yet. They're doing fine. I talked to my mom almost every day. There are issues with everything that happens, but nothing major. She seems to be fine there. She has good aides that help her get up and use the bathroom. She seems happy there now."

"I was a patient at Fort Washington Rehab center in September of 2020. I had open heart surgery and was admitted from Prince George Hospital. The staff was both compassionate and caring. I was petrified of COVID but I was kept safe. I was in a great deal of pain but the nurses and the therapy staff handled me so well. Their was a nurse that admitted me their from the hospital. Rosalind Stokes came to see me once I admitted and she stayed in contact with me throughout my stay. I did not expect that extra touch. The Admissions Director and The ED Karen that runs that building does it with great compassion. I would highly recommend this facility if and when you need help."

"Westmoreland Rehabilitation & Healthcare Center is pleasant. They took my aunt from the hospital to their nursing facility. They have a friendly staff. It is a well-kept place. They have easy check-in and check- out procedures. The dining facility is clean. The living area is also clean, nice, and kept. The activity center is nice. Everything about the place is warming. She is in a shared room. It is clean. You get two rooms separated by a curtain, so it's got a normal institutional look. They have a reading area, a TV, a movie selection of DVDs that you can look at, books that you can read, magazines, and those types of things."

"My brother is in Forestville Healthcare Center. I have mixed reviews about them. I feel like it could be better aesthetically, first of all, and just a little more attentive to the patients. There's nothing lively about the room. There are no pictures. We bring pictures of the family, but the walls are just dull. There's nothing to stimulate the senses. They have a community room. They had a room that family could go and gather and celebrate my brother's birthday, and that was nice."
