"This facility, while it may seem dated from the outside, is filled with love and care on the inside. The staff is going above and beyond during the COVID 19 pandemic to help residents speak to family members due to the governors orders of not allowing visitors. During each visit every staff member had all PPE on even when meeting me outside. While doing activities is difficult during this trying time, the activities department has still come up with ways for the residents to still be able to do them. "

"My mother is in Waldorf Center. It's very nice. Everything is good. The nurses are friendly and they're good. They make sure she gets her medicine. It's clean. She's in a big room with two people. She's diabetic, so she gets smaller portions, but the food looks fine. She likes it. The staff is very good. It's pretty expensive though. The facility is very clean. They're very cautious about COVID. You have to test every three days. They make sure the patients test and the staff. They're very attentive. Every time I come down there the nurses are on the unit. My mom is getting excellent care, and she looks a whole lot better."

"I went to tour Sagepoint Senior Living. I saw the patients, and they looked happy. The staff was really friendly, and it was very clean. I like that it was clean. The rooms were standard. I like them because they have more modern beds. The young lady who toured me around was very friendly."

"I stayed at Complete Care recently. I want thank a few of the geriatric nurses aids (GNA) that have gone above and beyond to make my stay pleasant. Sophia is extraordinary, she's absolutely wonderful so are Wanda, Nikki, Ashley, Liz, Fred and Samiya. These GNAs deserve a hefty raise for their hard work."

"I was very hesitant recommending this facility to my loved one due to the bad reviews. Turned out it was a great experience. From the touring to discharge everyone was great and very caring. They always attends to the needs of our loved one and that really helped in the speedy recovery. What we really appreciated as we were leaving staff are still telling us not to hesitate to call them for any questions. It made us feel like we are not on our own even when we left the facility. "What a nice place. Pleasant staff that truly cares about their patients. The place was extremely clean and fresh smelling. Each time I've gone to visit my mom, everyone was so pleasant and kind to me, and more importantly to my mom."

"I chose Autumn Lake Healthcare at Chesapeake Woods for my wife because it was available, which was the big thing. They have nursing care that is required by Medicare. My wife likes it there, and that's the best thing. They're very friendly, very helpful. The only problem is (and you'll find this to be true in many nursing homes) a lot of clothes are lost in the laundry, so I chose to do her laundry myself. That's the only issue that I have. Also, they all seem to be overworked because that's how they make their money. They have no single rooms. They're all double rooms. They each have an armoire and a chest of drawers. There's only one chair and one TV in the room. The staff are very good. For activities, they have little programs every morning. Like today, they took my wife for lunch out in the town. The cost is very high. I could not afford it if I didn't get Medicare."

"My mom is in Signature Healthcare at Mallard Bay doing rehab after a knee surgery. We're not able to visit yet. They're doing fine. I talked to my mom almost every day. There are issues with everything that happens, but nothing major. She seems to be fine there. She has good aides that help her get up and use the bathroom. She seems happy there now."

"The rooms are nice and clean, nursing staff to include the GNAs are extremely caring and knows their patients well. Always checking to make sure each patient is taken care of. I would recommend this facility if you are looking for a caring environment."

"Westmoreland Rehabilitation & Healthcare Center is pleasant. They took my aunt from the hospital to their nursing facility. They have a friendly staff. It is a well-kept place. They have easy check-in and check- out procedures. The dining facility is clean. The living area is also clean, nice, and kept. The activity center is nice. Everything about the place is warming. She is in a shared room. It is clean. You get two rooms separated by a curtain, so it's got a normal institutional look. They have a reading area, a TV, a movie selection of DVDs that you can look at, books that you can read, magazines, and those types of things."

"My brother is in Forestville Healthcare Center. I have mixed reviews about them. I feel like it could be better aesthetically, first of all, and just a little more attentive to the patients. There's nothing lively about the room. There are no pictures. We bring pictures of the family, but the walls are just dull. There's nothing to stimulate the senses. They have a community room. They had a room that family could go and gather and celebrate my brother's birthday, and that was nice."
