My mom is in Signature Healthcare at Mallard Bay doing rehab after a knee surgery. We're not able to visit yet. They're doing fine. I talked to my mom almost every day. There are issues with everything that happens, but nothing major. She seems to be fine there. She has good aides that help her get up and use the bathroom. She seems happy there now.

The room was small for two patients. The food was horrible.. understaffed especially on weekends. No nurse in facility at times. Patients basic needs not met regularly. At times morning meds weren't given until afternoon/evening.

During my husband 3 week stay in this place, he was allowed to fall 6 times resulting in serious injuries to include 4 fractured ribs, punctured spleen and pneumonia. Once his oxygen levels were so low a nurse decided to send him to the Emergency room. He never healed from this nursing homes lack of responsibility for his safety and care. In other words, I wouldn’t send my dog to this nursing home.
