"We had a very good tour of Celebration Villa of Manresa. The staff did a very good job and we appreciated it. She was very friendly, and the information she gave us was very good. The residents were very friendly. It just gave us a good impression overall. The layout of the apartment was good. It was an older building and maybe the outside could have used some help. There was some chipped paint and things like that. But overall, it looked very good."

"Touring Candle Light Cove was a great experience. It's a nice setting. Financially, it was going to be hard to be able to maintain that one, but the experience of visiting it was wonderful. The staff was great. They took their time with us. They sat down and explained everything. I think it would be a great place for my dad if we were able to sustain it financially. They took us back into the area where, if he were to join them, he might stay. They were friendly. The facility was clean. The residents seemed to be happy and interacting with each other. We had a good feeling walking into that particular establishment. The lady who gave the tour was extremely nice and very informative. The follow-up was great. It's very well kept outside and inside, and extremely clean. It's well put together."

"I went to Bayleigh Chase. I was in a yarn needle group there and I visited people who were also in rehab there. The facilities are beautiful and they seem to care about the patients. There are a lot of activities for them. They were just very nice. They have a restaurant where the family can come with them when they visit. It was very nice. They have movies for them and take them on field trips within the community. The staff was very pleasant and tried to do their best for everybody, just very welcoming. I've had the chance to eat in their dining room. The food is good."

"I was there for eight weeks recovering from a deadly bone infection. The medical staff were always right on top of my tests and progress, shared that information, and let me know next steps. The PT team was professional and helpful. I felt secure and supported while I recovered. Facility is nice and clean, and there was not a soul on staff, from the food ladies all the way up, who were not encouraging."

"I chose Autumn Lake Healthcare at Chesapeake Woods for my wife because it was available, which was the big thing. They have nursing care that is required by Medicare. My wife likes it there, and that's the best thing. They're very friendly, very helpful. The only problem is (and you'll find this to be true in many nursing homes) a lot of clothes are lost in the laundry, so I chose to do her laundry myself. That's the only issue that I have. Also, they all seem to be overworked because that's how they make their money. They have no single rooms. They're all double rooms. They each have an armoire and a chest of drawers. There's only one chair and one TV in the room. The staff are very good. For activities, they have little programs every morning. Like today, they took my wife for lunch out in the town. The cost is very high. I could not afford it if I didn't get Medicare."

"ABSOLUTELY BEST ASSISTED LIVING CARE IN THE WORLD!!! MY MOM HAS LIVED THERE FOR YEARS. LIVE IN MANAGER IS AN AMAZING AND LOCAL SAINT WHO TAKES BETTER CATE OF RESIDENTS THAN THEIR OWN FAMILY. GREAT ACTIVITIES, HOMEMADE FOOD, CLEAN , NO BAD ODORS, CARING STAFF . WOUDNT PUT MY PARENTS ANYWHERE ELSE. LOOKED AT OTHERS LOCALLY AND ALL NOT NEARLY AS GOOD AS WHITEWOOD. AND YOU CAN BRING YOUR PET. "

"My inlaws reside at Queenstown Landing. My Father In Law recently passed. The kindness and warmth provided to him is beyond words. Exceptional care and interaction with the residents and families. The Staff is Family, and knows their resident's personalities and needs. They have the best interests at heart. Safe, Clean, and Accommodating. Residents rooms are large and have private bathrooms, common areas include living room w/ fire place and dining area. Activities include Music, Arts & Crafts, Bingo, Trips, Visiting Entertainment, Parties, Gardening, Speakers, Hair Salon, Patios and Courtyards and more! Thank you for making David and Adele smile!"

"My mother has been at Corsica since Nov of 2016 and I can not say enough great things about the staff. She is in their Homestead Memory Care Unit and the nurses, aides, director and activity staff are amazing. They take such excellent care of mom and this gives me such peace of mind especially since I live in Delaware and I'm not as close as I would have liked. It is such a hard thing to put a loved one in a nursing home but if you need to, I would highly recommend Corsica Hills."

"My mother is staying at HeartHomes at Bay Ridge. She's on level 2 memory care. She can still feed and dress herself, but she needs reminding. She needs help brushing her teeth, and she needs help with medicine. We've been pleased with the care she's getting. It's a smaller place, so they don't have a ton of activities. I like the people there a lot, that's why we've been there for so long. I like the facility. It's pretty much the basics, nothing real fancy, but it's nice. They have special events from time to time. They have local musicians come in and play for them and they have 4th of July cookouts and stuff like that. They play cards sometimes. On Tuesdays, they have some activities. There's just not a ton. I like the fact that all of the rooms have their own bathroom. They're all single rooms. It seems to be clean there for the most part."
