I went to Bayleigh Chase. I was in a yarn needle group there and I visited people who were also in rehab there. The facilities are beautiful and they seem to care about the patients. There are a lot of activities for them. They were just very nice. They have a restaurant where the family can come with them when they visit. It was very nice. They have movies for them and take them on field trips within the community. The staff was very pleasant and tried to do their best for everybody, just very welcoming. I've had the chance to eat in their dining room. The food is good.

Bayleigh Chase is an older community, but very well maintained. The lobby area and the resident areas such as the meeting rooms and media rooms were very clean and very inviting. The dining areas were open and gave you a restaurant feel as opposed to a dining hall type of feel that you might get in some places. The person who took us on the tour answered all our questions, and we had no issues with what we saw. It would be a good place for anyone who was looking for a nice place to stay. The one thing about Bayleigh Chase was that we did show up unannounced. We just kind of was driving out that way, but they were very open to our taking a tour without advance notice, which was nice. The one thing that was negative for us was the size of the rooms, mainly because it's what my parents were expecting. They're used to space where they had a 2-bedroom apartment with a sitting area, two bathrooms, and a kitchenette. What was available mainly was a hospital size room that really can't accommodate more than one person. So if you're looking for a place in which you want to put parents together, the only way you could probably pull it off is they have a small handful of adjoining rooms with a door between the two rooms where you can put some furniture in one room and a bed in the other. Other than that, you could tell that the assisted living side of Bayleigh Chase was primarily designed for a single individual on a single bed.

My wife is in Bayleigh Chase, and it's very good. The care, the rooms, and the staff are excellent. The nurses are very kind. They have a dining room, a library, a workout room, music periodically, bingo, and all kinds of games. I haven't tried the food myself, but my wife says it's very good.
