"My mother-in-law is here. We've only been there a little bit, so it makes a very nice initial impression. It is really first class pretty. Anything that we've asked them for, thus far, they've immediately addressed, whether it was hooking up PCs, how to get the doors locked and unlocked, or how to get assistance. They immediately addressed all of that. The rooms we saw were basically one-bedroom, and we put a single bed in there, and we were able, with no problem at all, to get her a bureau or a dresser and two night tables in the bedroom. She uses a walker to get around. That turned out to be good, but we had to get a small bed. The bathrooms are beautiful. They're brand new, and they're just very, very nice. The living room, because the TVs are mounted on the wall, they don't take up floor space. The only thing she really couldn't get in there is a coffee table, but everything else fit in well. I went down there and ate with her twice in the four days and it was very good. They serve the food. The woman comes out with a pad like you would see at a diner, takes your orders, and somebody else comes around for drinks and white napkins. They bring you the drinks and then the food comes out shortly thereafter. They have a chef who is very concerned that his food is always good. He came out and met all of us. It's great. I have no problem at all. The staff has been great. It's all brand new. I'm trying to get my cousin's mother in there now. I can't say enough about the whole thing. It's very nice."

"Pasadena Home Care is a lovely facility. As a matter of fact, I was going to call them back today and see if they had a room opening because they didn't have a room open at the time and they said one will be open soon. I was very, very impressed with the home. I liked the environment. It felt like a home and it felt like the staff was very caring and knowledgeable. The private room was nice and it had a single bath, which was a plus for me."

"We are just starting to research assisted living for my 94 year old mother. I have to let you know I called on very short notice and was given an almost immediate time. Even though I had been told that they were booked. The manager was great as were all of the employees we spoke with. We were not rushed or given the short tour or a partial explanation of amenities and cost. We are pretty sure this is the place for mom even though we have visited others in the area "

"My stepsister was in the Sunrise of Annapolis for two and a half weeks before she passed away. The place was very good, and the care was good as well. She was well-accepted there. We were very pleased with it. It was the perfect place for her. It worked out very well, and it was very homey. We were very happy with the care that they provided. It was absolutely clean, and they were very good about keeping it clean. They have resident cats and resident dogs that wander around the facility freely, and the residents enjoy having them. "

"I toured About That Life Assisted Living. I didn't go with anything else. I went because of the location and I liked the facility and it was very clean. The program, she ran it down to me, the things that my cousin would be doing, doctor's appointments, eating, taking his medication. If we want to put him out and he wants to go to daycare, he can. I chose that one because the lady was very professional and the house was nice."

"So far, it has been great at Heartlands Assisted Living at Severna Park. My mom is starting to fit well into the place. The rooms look nice, like hotel rooms. She seems to like the food. I saw the menu, which looked good. Their staff is great. Everytime I come in there, they greet me and know my name. The only problem for me was their parking because their parking lot is small. "

"I didn't feel Alma's Grace Assisted Living was a good fit for my mom. The majority of the residents were male. The rooms were satisfactory. The staff was helpful, but I really didn't stay long. It was a quaint house. I didn't have any problems other than I just didn't feel it would be the right fit."

"The Angel Core Home of Care was great. Everybody had their own room. It was perfect. It's Angela's home; it was her place. It was so much like home. They had individual rooms, which is great. Her spot was great. She has a nice big yard. For different holidays, she has it all nicely scheduled. I thought the place was awesome. She has a ramp. She has it where you can actually sit in a chair and then it takes you straight up the steps. So if you're scared that you might fall going up the steps, she has this automatic belt thing where it rides you up the steps. She has it laid out. I was impressed. If anybody is looking for something, that's a nice place. It's for assisted living because they got to schedule the food, and they clean up their rooms. It was for all. Everything is 5 like the cleanliness and the schedule. It's an open-door for the family to come and visit. The staff were helpful. They had activities. They were doing some activities with some seniors. The meals are breakfast, lunch, and dinner. They have a schedule on the wall that shows what they have for breakfast, lunch, and dinner."

"Loving Care Assisted Living was great. This is the one that I would like to send my mother to. Jasmine was wonderful. She had a wonderful set-up. My mother enjoyed the people and staff that were there, including the residents. She had a great time. I loved it. Everything is in that one facility. They don't have it closed off for memory care and assisted living. It was a full assisted living facility. They just had special locks on the doors for wandering, so that they couldn't get them open. I felt comfortable because my mother wanders. The staff members were friendly and kind. They were laughing, and they could relate to my mother. They were talking to her, and she was talking to them. It was just a good conversation. Everyone was wonderful."
