I toured Delmar Estates Assisted Living. It's a small community. They only hold 16 people in each building. It was a very nice place. We almost moved there, but my mother-in-law just wasn't willing to go. They have three buildings now. The third building is not that old, but they're actually building a fourth one as we speak. They just have to finish up the drywall and whatnot inside. The grounds are really nice. The people I talked to were wonderful. The food was excellent. It made me want to sit down and eat with them. They do a lot of crafts, and they take the people out of there more frequently and take them to places. Like they would drive them off to the casino or down to the beach. Even if they're in wheelchairs or whatnot, they'd still make sure that they were out and getting some outside encouragement. It was really, really nice. The staff was wonderful. They were so caring. It was like visiting a family. It was wonderful, really.

My Mom moved into Delmar Estates 2 weeks after they opened. The rooms are beautiful- nice and big and the building is bright and cheery. The staff is 100% invested in my Moms care. Anything we ask for they are able to meet our needs. Management and nursing is wonderful and very responsive. The food is great and mom loves the activities
