"I like the fact that Pelican Pointe Post Acute Nursing and Rehabilitation is a smaller setting, not like a big hospital setting. There's only one wing for rehab, one wing for long term care, and one locked dementia wing. The long-term wing really had a bad odor. I would describe the staff that assisted me as very thorough, and she took her time explaining things to me. They seemed to have a good amount of amenities and they stop in to ask their clients in the mornings if they want to join in on the activities. They provide OT and PT. The location is in an area where I can take my sister to stores that are close by or to the beach."

"Our mother moved into Brandall Estates in mid April and we are very pleased with the facility and the staff. Everyone is so friendly, helpful and attentive to her. She has adjusted well and enjoys taking part in the activities especially the bingo three times a week. The facility is very clean and the housekeeping staff takes good care of her laundry each week which is part of the monthly cost. When she isn't feeling well the nurses are caring and she gets medical attention right in her room no need for doctor appointments off site. She is a very social person and she has made friends there with the other residents and the "girls" on the staff. There are plenty of activites to get involved in so no need for her to stay in her room, and she enjoys sitting on the outdoor porches/patios surrounding the building."

"J C Plaza seemed really nice. The staff during my visit were nice. They were quick to answer. It was convenient, as it was right down the road from us. "

"I just thought Villa Raffaella is a good fit for my mom because it’s a religious affiliation; they have mass and things she would like. It’s a small facility; I just think it’s home like. The staff seemed very caring and committed to helping people there. We went to see two rooms; one semi-private room and one private room, and the room was very nice. The person there told us about it, and it’s very nice. The grounds were well-kept and clean. They have a nice courtyard and they go outside. There were some games going on when we went through, and there were people attending mass. I definitely would recommend the facility. "

"New Standard Senior Living at Millville was new, so everything was in good shape. The facility was clean. The residents seemed well cared for. It wasn't as homey, so it was kind of sterile-looking, like there was very little artwork on the walls. It's just pretty basic. It was light and bright. I saw the staff member interacting with the residents. When we walked into the room, a lot of the residents waved. The staff waved back at them, like the residents obviously recognized her and saw her as a friend. They had an activities director, and they seemed to have a full calendar. They had three or four activities a day on their calendar. They had a gym and a hair salon. There weren't TVs in the common areas where they could watch TV together."

"I toured New Standard Senior Living at Egg Harbor Township. The facilities were brand new. Everything's clean and organized. The staff was very knowledgeable and ready to work hard to take care of your family member. They had workout facilities for anybody that needs rehab or anything like that. They had a pool table. They had one of those arcade basketball games to play with family members, which was cool. They had a cafeteria. The menu looked really good and very nutritional."

"The rehab I did at Millville Center wasn't much. They were supposed to rehab me for my right leg, but it was nothing more than getting your blood circulating. It wasn't helping me at all. They had a nurse practitioner there and she didn't respond well to my needs. Some of the staff also didn't respond to my needs, so I wouldn't recommend that place. My accommodation wasn't bad in that respect but I ended up being on long-term, and I had a roommate, and I didn't like that guy. They have an activity room where they had some guest musicians and arts and crafts activities."

"I was at Seashore Gardens Living Center for rehab, and I was pleased with the time that I spent there. One of my first observations was that the staff was courteous. They did not say, "OK, it's time to go and do this;" instead they would say, "Would you like to do this?" and that courteousness was shown in all that they did. I received physical therapy and occupational therapy, and I left there feeling that I was in better shape than when I went in. Also, their social services people were helping me to get additional aid at home for home care and possibly get Medicaid. I was there for two weeks and in the first two weeks, we were in the quarantine service. The room was good, and they're very particular about cleaning and taking care of things. The food wasn't the best, but it was good. The grounds were nice at all times. Occasionally, I would have a service to take me outside to do therapy if the weather was nice. It's a lovely place. They have an area called the boardwalk, which has been closed for a while because of the pandemic, and it's a place where you can get some takeout food. There's also a gift shop and a park with an aviary. At one point, I heard somebody playing the piano, and a bunch of people were getting together for that. So, it was lovely. The therapist would come in and play games with you while they were doing the therapy, but as far as things to do in between therapy sessions, there was pretty much just a television and whatever you bring with you, like a book or something like that."

"My mother has moved into The Lodge at Historic Lewes. The people are very friendly. They are taking great care of my mother, so we're doing good the first week. The food is excellent. They have different specials every day at lunch and dinner, and then they have a standard menu. So far I've just had two things off the standard menu, and they were just as good as any restaurant in the area. Everybody is extremely friendly and very helpful. I had a lot of questions, and they were very forthcoming. Any little tidbit of information I needed, they had it. The facility is beautiful. It's new, so it's gorgeous. There's nothing derogatory about cleanliness, it's just spotless. We've only been there a week, but we're very happy. They're very attentive. They come and check on Mom every two hours. Every day, they give my mother a little calendar with activities that she can go to, if she wants to. They're having a lot of little Christmas parties. They have movies. They have line dancing. Mom can't walk, but she says she's going to line dancing class, so she goes and watches, and she has made a lot of friends already. Regarding value for money, I know that they're in line with everything I read online, so I would say you get excellent value for your money."
