A friend of mine was over at Villa Raffaella Assisted Living. She was at the assisted living and then she progressed to needing more care. The community was immaculate, it was very clean and very warm. The employees were just very caring. They always had a smile on their faces when they checked in on my friend. I would be there for 2 hours, maybe 3 at the most, and they would have checked in with her twice just to see everything. She also said the food was great. They had activities every morning and every afternoon. They also had mass and they did the rosary, so there was plenty to do. They even got to know me coming, they knew who I was going to visit, and there was always a big hello. Everything about it, to me, was very appealing. I said if I needed to go somewhere, that would be my first choice.

I cannot adequately express how pleased we were to have our mother as a resident there. It was sparking clean and the staff truly loved and cared for the residents. The sisters were unbelievable and very attentive. My mother frequently commented about how much she loved it there. There were frequent activities and focused wellness attention. They don't advertise so we were very fortunate to find it from a referral after we had visited five others in the area.

My mom is in Villa Raffaella. We choose it because it is administered by the Catholic Order of Nun, and that is the key term. It has been great. She is comfortable. The room is fine. It is large enough and it has a little kitchen area. The staff is very friendly. She loves it there, and she is happy in all aspects. She has the opportunity to go to Church and she goes to prayer service every day and that is important to my mom. Then they have more activities as well. Our main goal for us as a family for my mom is for her to be in a Roman Catholic administered assisted living, and we are able to accomplish that.

I visited Villa Raffaella, and was treated very nicely. The staff was very accommodating, and they did everything. I have two friends in there who both seem very happy and content. I know that they do field trips, and there was a chapel right on the premises. In fact my husband's family and I went in the Chapel to put up a stained glass window in memory of my husband’s family. It’s a very nice, updated, clean, and well-kept facility. The atmosphere was very good; they try to make it home-like. I think it’s a small scale facility, but it has room for growth. Because it’s not a huge facility, it’s very homey.

I just thought Villa Raffaella is a good fit for my mom because it’s a religious affiliation; they have mass and things she would like. It’s a small facility; I just think it’s home like. The staff seemed very caring and committed to helping people there. We went to see two rooms; one semi-private room and one private room, and the room was very nice. The person there told us about it, and it’s very nice. The grounds were well-kept and clean. They have a nice courtyard and they go outside. There were some games going on when we went through, and there were people attending mass. I definitely would recommend the facility.
