"I would recommend Mystic Meadow to everyone who needs a Sub-Acute care. They went above and beyond for my mom from the moment we inquired about finding her a room to her entire stay. "My mother Mary spent her last days here at Oceananna. I will never forget the place. I seldom ride by and have thoughts of visiting my mother. I know se was very ill when she arrived there, but a nice older nurse maid, whose name was also MaryJane took care of her. She was improving, until they moved her room to the other side of the building. I don't know what happen but Maryjane left I guess and my mother took a turn for the worse, and never recovered from the bedsores that Maryjane had cured. All I know when MaryJane was taking care of her she was dry, fed, and her sores were healing. It was also a beautiful home until you got back inside in the a new area were my mother now was and all you could smell was urine. I think It was more my mother also she stopped eating. I can remember her saying I don't want to live anymore if I could not wash myself, and she wasn't we were, I and my sister and the nurses. She lasted six months at most. Then mom was gone from us. "

"I'm in a nursing home called Manahawkin Conv CTR. I think the staff here tries very hard to do their best. However, this is a smoker's facility. They have 24/7 smoking ability here, and it attracts a lot of that culture of people who likes to smoke a lot. I don't smoke at all. The atmosphere among the residents is not for me. I easily prefer a non-smoking or a very limited smoking facility. There's 24-hour cleaning going on here. They spend money on making sure the place looks clean. That's a positive for them. For activities, they have bingo, arts and crafts, and movies. They have entertainment that comes in. We have music here. They have magicians that come in."

"My Father has been in several centers in North New Jersey and they have all been nightmares!! We moved him down to Southern Ocean Center to be closer to his sister. My sister and I live in Florida it took us some time before we could get up to see him. I was completely overwhelmed with how fantastic this facility is! It is clean, the staff are all wonderful! Everybody knows Dad by name and spends time with him instead of just getting him up out of bed and into the wheelchair. He plays cards with the nurses and they all love him there! I can say being such a long distance away, I can easily sleep at night knowing my Dad is in such a great place and is being so well taken care of. "

"this is an excellant rehab and long term facility. My husband used this to rehab and He was motivated to recover after a few illnesses. The nursing and activity staff were so professional with Bill. My mom is now a residant in the memory care unit. I pop in without notice and find her at activities or hanging out. Mom is handled in her good and bad days. "
