this is an excellant rehab and long term facility. My husband used this to rehab and He was motivated to recover after a few illnesses. The nursing and activity staff were so professional with Bill. My mom is now a residant in the memory care unit. I pop in without notice and find her at activities or hanging out. Mom is handled in her good and bad days.

Terrible nursing care water not left in room with patients must be requested. Waited two hours for water from my husband nursing care does not exist. He is bedbound, but can be moved to a wheelchair. They keep him in the bed there’s no rotation there’s no concern of bedsores. There’s no nursing care. The nursing station is a gathering place for socializing employees.

My father was a resident there for 2 months. He had a stroke which effected his speech. During his time, he fell out of the wheel chair 4 times, 2 of which required a visit to the hospital and stitches in his head. The PA also decided to take my Dad off his blood thinner which prevented strokes because of his falling out of chair. We were never notified of this med change and after Dad's fourth fall asked for a med list and found out he had been taken off his blood thinner 6 weeks ago resulting in him having "numerous strokes. The nursing staff has much to be improved on and the aides do the best they can. There is no communication between shift changes. We visited daily, sometimes more than twice a day, and they were not happy that we just dropped in. My father was left unattended many times even after emphasizing his fall risk.. All these matter were brought to the attention of administrators and they agreed with our problems but never seem to have the time to correct them. I would not recommend putting anyone in the facility especially for long term care.

After being discharged from the hospital, she stayed in Courthouse Convalescent Center for a rehabilitation. She was only there for a week. She had a very big private room. Also the staff were helpful, nurturing and attentive. They could improve on the food though.
