"My mother had a stroke and was sent to Complete Care at Linwood, LLC (Formerly Linwood Care Center). It's a nursing home and rehab. It's much better than it used to be and I'm pleasantly surprised. I'm pleased with the speech therapist, the physical therapist, and the nursing staff. She's in a double room, and it's very clean. The layout is tough for my mother's older friends who are coming because it's a long walk, but it's clean. I've seen people playing bingo."

They had an Activities Director who usually held an activity that all the residents could go to once per day, but there wasn’t any transportation to and from the facility. "

"My uncle moved into Mystic Meadows Rehab & Nursing Center. I met the administrator the other day, and he's very nice, very willing to help in any way. My uncle was complaining he needed a haircut, and he said "Don't worry about it, I'll bring you to get your haircut, but you have to pay for it separately." They gave him a haircut. He's always clean shaven, always clean and neat, and as far as that goes, I think they do a very good job. From the outside the floors look very clean, they have pretty chandeliers on the ceiling, and it looks like a pleasant place. They have a courtyard, but it's only accessible from the inside. Some of the rooms face the courtyard and there are flowers."

"I'm in a nursing home called Manahawkin Conv CTR. I think the staff here tries very hard to do their best. However, this is a smoker's facility. They have 24/7 smoking ability here, and it attracts a lot of that culture of people who likes to smoke a lot. I don't smoke at all. The atmosphere among the residents is not for me. I easily prefer a non-smoking or a very limited smoking facility. There's 24-hour cleaning going on here. They spend money on making sure the place looks clean. That's a positive for them. For activities, they have bingo, arts and crafts, and movies. They have entertainment that comes in. We have music here. They have magicians that come in."

"Genesis is the corporation that runs Southern Ocean Center. My mother is in there now. It's a fine facility. It's a nice place. They keep the place clean. The food is good and the care is good. The staff is very friendly and they do a nice job. They know what they're doing. I don't have anything really bad to say about this nursing home. My mother has been there for three months now. "

"My husband was a resident for 2 weeks, everyone there took great care of him, big shout out to Pam,she went above and beyond to help us,the nurses and aids did and got anything you asked of them,the food was okay,but staffing was great, I would take him back there if he needs rehabilitation again,thank You for everything the room is nice,my husband enjoyed his therapy said everyone made it fun "

"My mom has been a resident for over a year. Due to her need for around the clock care, family is unable to provide the attention that she needs. Aside from being home with us, we feel that she is being treated kindly snd her needs are being met. She has grown attached to the staff and they all love her! They tell me that,often. She recently celebrated her 100th birthday! The activities director coordinated a video and decorated the foyer in honor of mom. That is just one example of their kindness. Fun activities are in full swing again since COVID which is a wonderful means for the residents to socialize. All in all, we are pleased with the facility; mom’s home away from home."

"When you walked down the hallways of Innova Health, you could smell bowel movements. Maybe they’re short staffed. The food was unreal, and most of the people that could ordered out. The staff was a mixed of some really good and some nasty. "

"My husband has moved into Bishop McCarthy Residence. It's two people per room, and he was used to having his own room and everything. I spoke to the CNA and the nurse that were there, They seem very nice. He will be getting PT, OT, and a dietitian. First, they do an evaluation to figure out where he's at. They take it from there and then assign him to whatever therapy he needed at this time. When I was there yesterday, they were going to have bingo time. The staff interacts with them, which is very nice. Some other guys were out there in the hall, they were in the visiting sections. The rooms were small, but they were clean. They did have a person come in and he cleaned out the bathroom and everything. You're allowed to visit from 8 AM to 8 PM."

"Our tour of New Jersey Veterans Memorial Home at Vineland was absolutely amazing. The place is wonderful. They have so much to offer. The residents are very well taken care of. They are very happy. You would be very hard-pressed to find a speck of dust in this place. It is so clean. Everyone there is friendly. They have everything you could possibly want. It is just spectacular. I just can't say enough about it. The staff who gave the tour was very knowledgeable and very friendly. He answered every question. When I went the first time, I got his phone number. And I called his home phone number and he took the time to call me back on his day off and made arrangements with me. He said it was absolutely no problem to give him a call at any given time on his home phone or on his work phone. If we have any questions, he will help us with anything we need help with. It's the same with the rest of the staff. They're just wonderful people."
