My father has been there for going on 5 years now. The care has been excellent over the entire period. The place is clean, everyone engages with the residents the food is good. I would highly recommend Southern Ocean Center.

My Father has been in several centers in North New Jersey and they have all been nightmares!! We moved him down to Southern Ocean Center to be closer to his sister. My sister and I live in Florida it took us some time before we could get up to see him. I was completely overwhelmed with how fantastic this facility is! It is clean, the staff are all wonderful! Everybody knows Dad by name and spends time with him instead of just getting him up out of bed and into the wheelchair. He plays cards with the nurses and they all love him there! I can say being such a long distance away, I can easily sleep at night knowing my Dad is in such a great place and is being so well taken care of.

Genesis is the corporation that runs Southern Ocean Center. My mother is in there now. It's a fine facility. It's a nice place. They keep the place clean. The food is good and the care is good. The staff is very friendly and they do a nice job. They know what they're doing. I don't have anything really bad to say about this nursing home. My mother has been there for three months now.
