Crest Haven was an abomination in terms of lack of adequate care and theft of my father's belongings during his stay there. I would advise those investigating nursing and rehabilitation centers to avoid this facility at all costs (despite its good location.) My mother had to recover from an illness in the Cresthaven Home. Everyone from the administration down to the patient aide where terrific. Everyone had a smile and a pleasant hello to greet you with. Everyone treated my mother with the utmost dignity. Although the home was slightly under staffed, they tried to respond to my mothers requests for assistance in a prompt courtious manner that truely reflects the care and concern they have for their patients and guests.

Crest Haven Rehabilitation Center is a clean, modern facility located in beautiful Cape May County, New Jersey. Boasting a professional and caring staff, Crest Haven Rehabilitation Center is considered one of the nest nursing homes in the state of New Jersey, consistently receiving high ratings by state reviews. It provides residents with clean, spacious rooms, lovely grounds and plenty of senior activities to take part in. They have a pet program and school children and civic groups often have interactive events with the seniors. Mainly housing Alzheimer's patients, Crest Haven also has TLC and rehabilitation units that receive high marks. With the economic downturn, however, administration has comprised the staff/patient ratio, so that there are not enough caregivers to adequately perform the duties that are assigned on a daily basis. Ideally, Crest Haven should get rid of many of the paper pushers in administration, in order to hire the hands-on staff needed to take care of the infirm and elderly.
