My mom moved into Quapaw Care and Rehabilitation Center. They've been really good. They are doing a great job. I like their patience with my mother and the way they take care of her and joke with her. They make it an easier experience. The staff members are very nice, friendly, caring, and loving. I've seen the food, and it looks great. The facility is very clean. It's an older building, but it's a very nice facility. There are gardens out there, and it looks like people are growing vegetables and other things, so it's nice.

My wife is still in Quapaw Nursing & Rehab Center. She had COVID like a month ago, she's been treated and over that, but she had some swelling and fluid, and that's affecting her breathing right now, which they consider a COVID sign. She's in quarantine there, but they're working with diuretics and things to get the fluid off of her. I'm sure she'll be much better, but I just don't know when that will be. My wife likes them, we really haven't had any major problems, they're human just like anybody else. There's been a few minor things, like we bought her five or six pairs of pajamas, and everything except what she had on turned up lost in the laundry, which is peculiar 'cause it's not that big a facility. Last couple of nights I think they've had new people in there, because the regulars were probably off for Christmas, and they weren't very attentive, and they were loud. They didn't follow up with her request for assistance to the bathroom and water. Overall we're very happy with the facility, it's clean, it's nice, and the regular help is just the nicest. My wife had no complaints with the food, but I sneak her some food sometimes, and she told me a couple of days ago that she's getting tired of their food. She has occupational and physical therapy.
