Although the decision to place him in a nursing home was a difficult one, it was made much easier upon visiting the facility and meeting the staff. Although it is an older facility, it was very clean and well maintained. The staff was friendly and compassionate and never hesitated to answer any questions that I had. There were two instances where my husband fell out of his bed, and I was called promptly each time. With all the stories you hear of abuse, I was very apprehensive about placing him under someone else's care, but never at any time did I have any concerns about the care he was receiving. They did everything they could to make my husband as comfortable as possible, and made a very difficult situation much easier to bear. "
