"The staff seems to be good with my mother but whoever makes the rules must not like flowers. I went by to deliver a dozen roses to my mom and I was informed that they had to stay outside on the windowsill. I understand why we can't visit because of this. Corona virus but roses don't cough.. Not a cool rule.. I'll give them 5 stars because I have no idea of any of the questions because its locked down like a prison.."

"My husband was a resident of this facility for a short period of time (1-1/2 months) prior to his death in August, 2005. Although the decision to place him in a nursing home was a difficult one, it was made much easier upon visiting the facility and meeting the staff. Although it is an older facility, it was very clean and well maintained. The staff was friendly and compassionate and never hesitated to answer any questions that I had. There were two instances where my husband fell out of his bed, and I was called promptly each time. With all the stories you hear of abuse, I was very apprehensive about placing him under someone else's care, but never at any time did I have any concerns about the care he was receiving. When his illness advanced, the staff was very cooperative with Hospice. They did everything they could to make my husband as comfortable as possible, and made a very difficult situation much easier to bear. "

"The Villa had very good nursing care for my aunt. They are very supportive of family members, and they had great professional and medical care from the doctors, psychologists, and social workers. The medical care and the social care stood out to me. "

"Cornerstone Retirement Community is a beautiful facility located in Texarkana TX. I had the pleasure of visiting a relative there once to every other week and each time I went, I noticed the good mood that she was in and the well kept appearance that she always exhibited. The staff has always been friendly and even allowed me to help her while I was there and always asked if I needed assistance with anything. Her room was always supplied with the necessary materials needed and her medications were always administered on time. She was given three full meals daily, cooked fresh from the kitchen. This facility included a game room, observation area, park, community room and each resident had their own room. Residents were free to visit other residents and also sit up front with the staff. I would definitely recommend this facility to anyone looking for an assisted living/retirement community. "
