My mother moved into The Manor Benton. It was very clean and very cheerful. As far as the décor, the way it's decorated, and the colors of paint and stuff, I always think it's cheerful when I go in there. The nurses have been very nice, very attentive to mom, and keep us informed too on how she's doing. They do have some activities, but in memory care, the residents were not that capable of doing activities. The food looked appetizing and good. I haven't tasted it, but it looked fine. Based on everything that we looked at beforehand, the price is about average. So I wouldn't say it's cheap, but I wouldn't say it was the most expensive. They have a TV, and they do have some games and things. They have a little outdoor area that they can sit on the patio. But as far as other kinds of amenities, I don't know if there's anything else for memory care. I think there may be some other things for the assisted living and the more independent living residents.

We toured the Manor Benton. The staff that we met were helpful. The facilities were very nice, so we liked all of that. We passed by a group that was doing some exercises in their exercise room while we were there. We also saw some people doing some arts and crafts kind of thing. The rooms were all pretty comparable. They had almost the same footprint as the other community. However, we were concerned about the number of nurses that they had available, so we talked to them about that. They seemed to be a little bit short staffed for some things.

The Manor Senior Living Community of Benton was very well kept and very well-shown. They were very courteous, and I enjoyed dealing with them. The place was classy and large. They answered all our questions, and were very polite. David was very accommodating to us, and I actually recommended them to someone else.

I went to look at The Manor Benton. It was beautifully done. I visited the main facility; it was clean and beautifully decorated. The residence that I did see were happy, joking, and getting ready to go on a bus trip. The employee that I talked to that guided me through the facility was very nice, very informative, answered all my questions, spent a lot of time with me, and showed me all of this facility. I went and toured their duplexes which were beautiful and clean. Everybody seemed friendly and glad I was there. So I appreciated that. I wouldn't hesitate to live at The Manor Benton at all, from what I saw. They all wore masks. They had hand sanitizers everywhere, and they were convenient to the residents. The staff explained their cleaning process to me, which was what guidelines state. It was very clean. I was pleased with what I saw.

We have selected the Manor Benton. They had an opening and no wait list. The room has a big walk-in closet, the bathroom is near the bedroom, and the living room and the kitchen are separate from the bedroom. The layout is great and nice. The food is good; Mom and Dad like it, and Dad is kind of picky. They have theater and outings to the senior center in Bryant, go shopping at the local Wal-mart, play bingo, and have a hairdresser that comes in who will do the ladies’ hair and haircuts for the guys. It has a lot of stuff to offer residents.
