Mountain Vista Manor was an individual home. It's not really large and kind of crowded. It seemed that most of the people they were caring for were quite disabled. They were either bed bound or chair bound and couldn't move without assistance. From what I have noticed, most of the residents were not able to participate in the activities. The staff was very nice, cordial, and showed us around the house. The place was kind of dark and didn't really have a cheery kind of atmosphere, but the staff was very pleasant.

I am very happy with Mountain Vista Manor. My friend is doing very well there. Even though he has had some physical problems, they have been giving him very good care. The food is excellent. My friend is gaining weight, so that makes me very happy. My friend is not able to care for himself, but he has a very nice room for himself. When he moved in, there were two beds in there, but they had moved one out, so he has the room to himself. He gets three meals a day. The staff is very good. They are there everyday. I have not seen any changes in the staff since he has been there, which is a real nice deal.
