Orchard Pointe at Glendale Assisted Living & Memory Care

It was very nice. Everyone was quite friendly. It seemed like they'd be nice to the customers. I've visited several rooms in the facility. I got a good overview of the place. They seem to have quite a few things to keep you occupied. They had movies going all the time. They have things like Wii bowling or something that involves activities with a computer or a TV. The staff was all good. They were all very friendly and helpful. The dining facility looked very nice, and it's open all day long.

We toured here. It was beautiful and had a lot to offer there as well. That facility was a little larger, but it was pretty swanky. I did see some of the people playing cards. They can go do whatever they want, and come back whenever they want. They've got a lot of freedom to do what they want. I like that. I did talk to the residents there. They love it. When I talked to the people, there was more in there that was a little older and they simply just had no problems, and they still have their own cars. A couple of men I was talking to just live there because they don't have to cook for themselves and things like that, and I thought that was pretty interesting, and we ate there.

I have been to here to see it. The tour was pretty good. It was actually a pretty excellent place. Their facilities were also good. They were very clean and very inviting. We met with Michael, and he was very good as well. They had a bistro, where you can hang out. They had bingo. They had movie nights in their theater. They had different events that were sometimes off-site. They also provide transportation. They had an outdoor area for when the weather's warmer. It was pretty nice there.

It had a lot of nice qualities to it. What I liked the most was if you ever needed to move your loved one from assisted living to memory care, the staff would move all the furniture, so when you come back, the room looked the same, but it'd be in the memory care already, not assisted living. So, I liked the fact that they were very helpful in that manner. The area looked great and everything was wonderful about it. I primarily looked at the assisted living apartment area, and then we walked over to the memory care. Penny did a great job during the tour. She was very wonderful, very knowledgeable, and very friendly. The place was very clean, very nice, and they seemed very happy there too.

Michael

The care givers are patient, attentive, and truly have your loved-one’s best interest at heart. They go out of their way to connect and do special things for my mother.

My mom for the moment is confined to bed. ALL the staff at this facility are excellent care providers. Mom's phone was dead and the nurse called me so I could talk to her. That meant the world to me. They go above and way beyond in caring for their residents. I love them all and sleep well knowing my mom is in such capable hands. Thank you.
