My husband was in J & B Assisted living before he passed away. His room was OK, he was well taken care of, and he also had hospice care. The location was great for me, because I was close by, and it looked like a regular house that people live in. He ate the food pretty well at first.

This is a beautiful private facility. The home is very nice and well maintained. There are shrubs, flowers and greeneryin a nice landscape. They have 7 residents in this home and they have two other homes in Glendale and Peoria. They have private and semi-private rooms. All are handicapped equipped. They do all housekeeping and laundry. They serve three home cooked meals and snacks. The food is good and they try to do a variety. They do all three levels of care. There is a house doctor and they do transport out to appointments. The owners wife is a nurse. All caregivers are certified. The staff is very nice and caring. They have a large backyard with a patio and bbq area. They have lots of activities as exercises, games, crafts, one on one activities, and they have live entertainment on the patio weekly. They go out to casinos, restaurants, and other community events. They do a lot of celebrations for birthdays and otherwise. They always involve family. This seems a very nice place.
