Rental Assistance Program

Funded by the Prince William County Government, the Rental Assistance Program is an income-based housing voucher program and those who qualify do so using the HUD guidelines for maximum income caps. Senior may select their own landlord if the landlord is willing to accept housing vouchers for payment. The housing is inspected by the county government to ensure that it meets basic safety and livability standards. There is a waiting list for this program.

This nonprofit agency is funded by Prince William County and operates several programs for those in need. It assists with housing placement, based on income, and helps with financial planning where needed. There is also a referral program for dental care in London and Fairfax counties, as well as Prince William County itself. The Daily Money Management for Seniors Program is designed specifically for the elderly in the area who need help paying utility bills and support with financial concerns.
