We used A Place At Home - Arlington & Alexandria Springfield for three days. It didn't work out. They injured my wife even further. The owner had this one guy who was here during the day. He was a big guy, and he tried to lift my wife out of bed because she has a very difficult time doing that, and she injured her shoulder. It's even worse now than it was before. One of the other ladies helped wash her hair, and I got a dry wash from Amazon. She used almost a whole bottle, which is supposed to last for aout 20 washes or more. It was awfully expensive and we got nothing out of it. They came in the first couple of days 8:00 in the morning until 10:00 at night. She had a total of three people coming in. We started cutting it back after two days. The one lady seemed pretty good and interacting, but the guy didn't interact a whole lot. He apologized when he realized he had hurt her. It's just companion care and personal care. One gal cooked dinner one night, and that was it, but I really didn't need that. My biggest thing is I needed someone who could help me with my wife. I cannot get her into bed without hurting her. They didn't really try to engage. The owner, Christine, was very nice, very positive, and explained everything about what would be going on. Billing was fine. We had to get a refund because she asked for two weeks upfront as a deposit in case something happens. I just paid for the actual hours that they worked.
