We chose Optimum Senior Care because they called me, the others didn't. I first spoke with Anna for my grandfather. Then she followed up with me. I gave her the details for my grandmother, we needed somebody immediately. My mom isn't too happy with this particular caregiver. They are in the process of finding someone else. The caretaker prepares her meals, does some housework, gives her medicine and companionship. I like the agency, I like working with Anna. She's very personable and she listens. And it’s a very last minute thing. I called her in the morning and asked for somebody in the afternoon, she was able to do that. I got to give her credit for that. If she had a little more time, she would have been able to find somebody who is a good match for my grandma. I'm happy with that.

We used Optimum Senior Care in the past for my mother in-law, but she already passed away so we don't need their services anymore. We were happy with them. Everything just worked out very good. Anna was always there whenever we want to talk to her or had any questions. The caregivers were awesome and they really got along with my mother in-law. We were really happy and I cannot complain. Even at this point, when someone asks me, I can highly recommend them. We had a couple of interviews when we started with them. We didn't need a lot of time to find the best fit for my mom. I think it was the second caregiver who worked full time, Monday to Friday. We had someone over the weekend. It worked out fine for us.

I love them! I remember when I spoke to them initially, they were incredibly responsive. They are very caring and they asked all the right questions. I just felt that the owner or the person I dealt with I think her name is Anna, really set me up to interview people who were committed, kind and caring. From a timing standpoint, she was very responsive. I needed a caregiver for my then 88-year old mother who kept falling but wanted to stay in her condo. My mother of course didn't want anybody staying with her so that was the obstacle. Anna came out and brought the first caregiver who was just lovely and kind and she instantly connected with my mother. She was reliable and dependable. My mom likes her and she likes my mom. I don't even know what to say except that this was not a situation where you ever felt that this was just a job for somebody. The caregivers that Anna sent were wonderful, warm and caring human beings. They were just very good at what they did for my mom. They stayed in touch with me and made my mother comfortable. In terms of responsiveness, if somebody couldn't make it for whatever reason, Anna made sure that there was a replacement person. It only happened twice but she made sure to notify me. There was the highest quality of care. These are people who were sensitive to my mom's needs. My mom has mild dementia. They all made her feel welcome and wanted. They were just so positive. They were so encouraging to her. It was wonderful. I was totally happy with their service. I cannot tell you how many people I'd recommended them to. Anybody that I know who has ever dealt with Optimum has only good things to say. I recommended them on one of these consumer websites that I belong to because it's so hard to find people who are that responsive and caring. Their price is comparable. It's everybody else's price but their quality is far and beyond. My mom is no longer with them. She was with them for 10 months total. It got to the point where I needed somebody there on a full time basis and we also considered the expenses. It just made more sense for my mother to go into and independent living facility where 90% of things are already taken cared of and provided for. But she still maintains relationship with 2 of those caregivers as friends. They were just lovely people and they stayed in touch with my mom which means a lot to her.

A caregiver from Optimum Senior Care takes care of my mother. She has Alzheimer's. They were so accommodating. They were able to find us an Italian speaking caregiver since my mother only speaks Italian now. They've always worked with us on the flexibility of their schedule. Originally, I only needed them a couple of days a week and now we've bumped it up. I found them online, and they turned out to be great. They're really willing to help you with your situation. They've been very easy to work with and I would highly recommend them.

We found Optimum Senior Care very helpful and accommodating. They showed up and made sure they met with my mother-in-law first and assessed her needs. They tried to find a good match in the people that cared for her. While my mother-in-law was in the hospital, they brought two people and she was able to meet them both and decide which one she was most comfortable with. We appreciated that because it gave her a little more choice in the matter. When the caregiver had to be gone, it was always handled efficiently. The people that replaced her on the days she had off were there on time. It was as smooth a transition as you can have in that situation. Overall we were very pleased with the service of the caregivers and the administration portion of it.

We have found an outstanding couple for in home care of my parents through this agency. The manager, Anna , is a very knowledgeable and caring individual herself , and has addressed any concerns and problems we have encountered along the way in a timely and fair manner. I would highly recommend this agency!
