Right at Home Greater Jacksonville, FL has come in a few times for my dad. They're per diem. They're kind of like if we need them, we'll call them. They help with companionship and bathroom assistance. They were going to do the bathing, but we ended up not having them do that only because my husband helped him out with bathing. My dad is on a feeding tube, so they're unable to provide help with that. It was basically for companionship because my dad would like to go out, so it's like date night or something. The caregivers were kind and considerate. They sat there and talked to my dad the whole time. They're just really good. There was one particular girl, Jalisa, who has just started with the company, and my dad loved her. We would use her again for sure. She was so good and top-notch. She was caring and kind.

I am delightful to have finally found an agency that has provided us with wonderful caregivers. My 89 year old husband not only has Parkinson’s but also tends to have cellulitis in his foot and leg that requires some treatment and wrapping daily with clean ace bandages to prevent reoccurrence. Right at Home has worked assiduously to find two great caregivers who fit our needs. They are not only skilled and efficient, but also cheerful and kind. They prepare lunch and even do some laundry as needed. We have come to think of them as almost family. We have had the pleasure of working with Keith and all the folks at Right at Home for more than a year. When they first started providing care for my Mom we had just brought her home from rehab. She couldn't walk, couldn't eat or drink without help and required 24 hour care. Her condition was so bad that we brought in Hospice to help with her care expecting her to pass away on any day. Over the past year she has improved dramatically. She now can walk with a walker and requires very little personal care. As she improved we were able to adjust her care based on her needs. Right at Home has been great to work with. They have been flexible and responsive. They make every effort to match up personalities and experience of the care givers with the client. Challenges will occur, but I have found Keith to be professional and easy to communicate with. The focus is always on resolution in the best interest of the client. I would be happy to refer Right at Home to anyone looking for in home care.

Yesterday, her caregiver came in and chatted in the kitchen with her all day long. It's improved her socialization. Having someone to chat with and talk with during the day has really helped her. Hurricane Dorian was heading toward my home in St. Augustine, and even though I didn't have care scheduled that day, the office called me before the storm hit to make sure I was okay and had a plan to be safe during the storm. Right at Home is great, taking care of my mom who has dementia, and my dad, who is battling cancer. So I can take a break and do errands. We have Right at Home caregivers come on a regular service. They also scale up care when needed, continuous care including overnights when needed as well. This allows me to travel and handle the necessary personal things. Right at Home is great!

Everyone is very courteous and understanding to my needs. They are very hands on because they will come and pick me up, guide me out of the car, and basically help me with what I cannot do for myself anymore.

They were wonderful. They would go with me to the doctor because my husband wasn't able to transport me from the car, to the wheelchair, and back. When I got out of the hospital, I couldn't put weight on my left side, so I needed someone to help me. I was a little more capable than I thought I would be, but I definitely needed their help getting in and out of the car and into the wheelchair.

It would have been nice if we had the same caregivers, so we didn't have to keep training new ones. I really appreciated going outside. Women tend to know how to walk with people that have canes. I appreciated that they knew how to support me when I walked.
