We are using Preferred Care at Home of Cape Coral and Fort Myers. They're satisfactory. They provide companionship and light housekeeping. There are no issues with communication. Billing and scheduling are satisfactory. I looked at the reviews and I just selected this one from among the ones that I had found. The caregivers have a very positive attitude. They are scheduled for eight hours a week. I'd like to have more, but I can't afford it. It's expensive, but I checked and it's competitive with everything else I've been able to find.

They should interview people on a better basis. The provider could stop sending kids here to read and be on their phones. They are usually inside playing on the machine.

I hope the older caregiver we have reassigned your case is a better match for you. They use their phones for care logs and instructions so we will make sure to readdress our no phone playing policy to your previous caregiver. We want all our clients to have the best experience.

Preferred Care provided caregivers for my husband while I visited with family in New York. Casey and Caitie were great with him! They took him shopping, made dinner, kept him company, even went on golf cart rides with him. He was happy and I wasn’t worried about him while I was away.

They are so attentive with her. They watch TV with her and she misses them when I come home! I like them and feel comfortable with them. If I'm gone, I don't want to be nervous. They really take good care of her.

The management team has done really good follow-up, and if I have to be flexible with hours because of appointments, the agency has been good at filling in the gaps. We had a slight issue with our current caregiver, but it might change with our new caregiver.

Preferred Care at Home of Cape Coral and Fort Myers provided excellent service. The ones that came to the house were bilingual. They're here for three to four hours just making sure that my mother is well taken care of during those hours, like if they had to give her a tea or if they had to clean her up. Basically, they did everything, whatever was necessary, and then they brought activities like for memory care. The caregivers were great and prepared. Communication with the agency was very good. They were very quick. Stacey was the one that I talked to. Scheduling was good. Billing was good, too. It's a great service to have. They're well trained and I do recommend it.

Everything that Preferred Care at Home of Cape Coral and Fort Myers did while they were here was excellent. I didn't have complaints at all. They came in here and sat with my spouse for three hours, three days a week, and whatever she needed, they did. They did a little bit of stuff around the house. They did some of her laundry and stuff while I was outside working. The caregivers were excellent. I didn't have complaints at all with them. Billing and scheduling were all good. Communication with the agency was excellent. They kept calling, at least once a week, just to see how everything was going and how the girls were going, and kept in touch with me that way.

Up until June my husband was here and for two years they took care of my husband and me. With the help of five hours in the afternoon provided so much that they could do. I like that anytime that I call, they take care of my needs.

I was benefitting because the caregivers took care of Leonard's exercises and reading and such. It freed me up to leave the house to do my own work and to shop and do errands. I would tell a friend that is mostly depends on who is matching the clients and caregivers, as some match really well and others are not a good fit.

They've helped with everything. They help prepare meals. One is very good at helping me navigate business sometimes and make decisions. She's college educated and a whiz at everything. She's very proactive, loving, and kind. Very focused the minute she gets here. The other caregiver is not one-hundred percent focused. I have two great caregivers on different days. Right now, I am fine. I've had not pleasant ones in the past, however, the owner, Stacy, is very proactive and excellent.

It was fine, and we came late and did what I had to do. I think being more familiar with what they were looking at and what the caregiver was capable of doing. They didn't really do anything wrong. After the gals were too young and watching her and didn't interact with her. I think they were just people that were hired.

When notified of deficiencies we act quickly to provide additional training to correct issues and improve our staff. We encourage all staff to expand their knowledge by offering ongoing training for them to obtain more advanced certification in Home Health, CNAs and specialist certifications including Dementia, Parkinson's, and Alzheimer's Disease. We also have outside survey companies help us monitor case status. We hope to correct any negative experiences as quickly as possible and again apologize for any deficiencies you experienced,

Preferred Care at Home of Cape Coral & Fort Myers currently provides care to my husband. They prepare meals for him, help him shower if he needs to, get him outside if he wants to sit outside and help him with basically anything throughout the day. If he has to go to the doctor, they'll take him there too. They also clean his bed if he has an accident, wash the sheets, then clean his bathroom. They are bringing packages in and getting the mail if he wants to. When I get home, he's usually already eating his dinner, so that's good. The caregivers have all been very nice and very helpful. He has different ones on Saturday and Sunday and he seems to get along well with all of them. If someone gets sick or has to leave or can't come in, they make sure to cover for that person. They make an effort. The billing is just fine. It's very easy. They email it to me and it's all automatic.
