This place is truly special! When it came time to place my mom in a memory care facility, we had a lot of fears. Would she just be left alone in her room, and only be checked on occasionally? Would she be kept clean and well groomed? When we found Windsor Gardens, all of our fears disappeared. Because it is a smaller facility, the care she received was constant and very personalized. No matter which caregivers were there when we visited, they all knew us by name, and could answer any questions we had as to how mom was doing. There were even several occasions when we would drop by, and actually found the administrator of this facility, sitting beside mom and spoon feeding her! I doubt we would have seen that anywhere else! I would not hesitate to recommend Windsor Gardens. It is a gem among memory care facilities. Mom was always clean and well taken care of. It felt like a home. Activities were always going on, and though mom was not able to participate much, many of the other residents did. The food looked delicious and healthy. For the short 5 months mom resided here, these people became like family! Wonderful, wonderful place! Windsor Gardens is definitely at the top of my list!

I found Windsor Gardens Memory Care on the internet when looking for a new location for my mother. The rehab center where she was gave me a list of some eight locations in the Vancouver/Camas area, further research provided me with a list of over several hundred. The task was over whelming to say the least. I personally with a family member or by myself checked out over 30 of these facilities. It was easy to know where I did not want my mother, and when I made my visit to Windsor Gardens it was very easy to know where I DID WANT HER. The staff is now family and they are caring and supportive to my mother and the family. I could not be more pleased with every aspect at Windsor Gardens, it is truly a GEM in the industry of adult care, everyone should be so lucky to have such care and concern.

Windsor Gardens was recommended by the assessment nurse from a different place. It is very homey and warm. Caregivers and owners are warm. They have different levels of dementia and Alzheimer care people. The staff is very efficient, warm, and caring. There is an activity person that comes Monday through Thursday that does activities like crafts and jewelry making. The food is very good. The dining room is like a home setup and only has 12 people -- not a big place. Security and safety are excellent.
