I personally chose this place for my mom in 2021 based on the rave reviews I read of the previous owners. But 3 months after moving my mom, the business was sold. I saw many things go downhill then, like instead of fresh produce in the refrigerator, I mostly found frozen and canned. I arrived unannounced usually, since I live nearby, and saw Campbells soup cans on the counter frequently. My mom's room, which had been cleaned weekly prior, was always filled with dust, trash and dirty laundry. While there, I noticed the residents were in their rooms instead of the common rooms, which was different than before. I could hear them many times, crying out and moaning. There had previously been two staff onsite, since some residents needed 2-person lift. But rarely saw 2 after that. It was usually one nice staff member, sitting and looking at their phone. I complained a number of times, but to no avail. I was stuck; I couldn't move my mom again. She died there in 2023 and I have been traumatized ever since that I let her stay, especially at $9,000+per month. The house, though, is gorgeous.

The previous owners were fantastic. New owners are not. Moved our loved one out within about 1 year of the new owners taking over. They cut back on all activities, served a lot of processed food, raised the prices and had very high turnover in staff. They seemed to be primarily concerned with collecting money, I rarely saw them interacting with residents. On the plus side, it's very clean and a lovely house. But it's not a warm/caring environment - more sterile and functional.
